Dolphins Could Have A Chance At Getting Haskins

There are no "great" QB's in this draft. The analogy was the "great" vs. "good"...played out between Haskins and Lock.
Name me another college prospect who was an elite passer and athlete like Murray who wasn't considered great.
Hell, I look Herbert better than Fromm and Tua...
Herbert needs another year because he lacks polish. Even so, I doubt having an extra year in his belt would solidify him as a number one pick. He would need to have a jump like Mayfield's junior and senior season to be in consideration. Whereas Tua is already there since his sophomore season.

You were on my case for assigning a 3rd round grade on Haskins for pointing out a legitimate issue about him and you turn around and take a questionable stance against two elite prospects? Both Tua and Murray can elevate teams as rookies. With Herbert, you need to pray to the football gods and carry around a rabbit foot wishing and hoping he becomes the answer.

I've come around that if Haskins is around at 13 I absolutely want us to take him. I like the big arm, I can live with the mobility issues, and I like that he's been a QB his whole life with a ton of upside with the work ethic to utilize it.

I think you grab Haskins at 13 if he is there. But honestly I think the best QB of this draft will come out mid round. Will Grier of WVU could easily be the top of this class in 3 years.

I think if any of the top three are there we should take them... Lock is prototype... 6’4”, mobile, big arm, quick release, quick decisions.

I still say Haskins is a Giant but if he’s there at 13, how much more valuable does that pick become?

Believe whatever you want but what you think regarding this issue doesn't matter. Being dismissive of someone based on one's number of posts is dumb as if the one and only arbiter is whether you can prove anything based on your finheaven post history. As if nothing outside this website matters. Some restraint on your part would've been wise. Think about it: If I lied to make myself look good, why did I simultaneously and freely admit the ones I missed? Don't you think that if I made it all up that Wilson, the best one out of 2012, would've been a part of my supposedly fabricated story to make myself look even better? Yet instead, I freely admitted that I was dismissive of him. And if I was the type to state the obvious only once the dust settled, why did I take a bold stance on Haskins, Stick, and Stidham in this thread, and Lock in another? If what I said is true, you have no argument.

You're a Tannehill fan. You were wrong everyday for seven years about Tannehill. What sort of content did you provide regarding the qb position?

The fact you went through some trouble researching my old posts is somewhat commendable. Did you come across the one where I tried to dismantle the idea that Tannehill was close to elite by showing it really wasn't that special as around 18 other qbs had better stretches? It's time to update that now but I can't be bothered. Mahomes, Trubisky, Watson, and I believe Mayfield would like to join the elite party with pacifiers.

Clearly FH is not your first rodeo when it comes to fandom social media. Certainly if you're truthful, you haven't made these savant evaluations in a vacuum. Easy to dispel the very understandable skepticism by citing links elsewhere to these successful predictions. After all Money Talks and Bull **** Walks.

I had the understanding he doesn't have a big arm? Great accuracy but the arm isnt outstanding. You'd think with his body he could throw it out of the stadium though.

He has plenty of arm. There's enough guys on the street with big arms if teams would like to add one.

Watching Haskins at the Buckeyes pro day I dont think he will be there at 13. The most impressive thing about him was his interviews and the intelligence he shows. He really handles himself like a much older veteran (unlike Murray).
He throws the ball effortlessly. Scouts have complained about his pocket movement against pressure but that is something only 14 career starts will be responsible for. He will get better with more games played.
I think if the Giants dont pick him the Bengals will for sure.

They also hoped Tanny's pocket awareness would improve with more starts....either you have it or you don't.

Miami probably has to jump in front of the Bengals at 11 if Haskins falls. They love drafting Buckeyes to Cincy.
