Drew Lock Meets With Dolphins

It is well known he loves the game. Hes not Cutler off the field..
I mean, if he can be a driven Cutler then sign me up.

Wasn't Cutler's arm talent very highly regarded coming out of the draft? He had all the ability, it's what's upstairs that drug him down

I’m all in for Lock. Rated number 2 behind Murray, and it looks like Murray is out of reach.

It was and I agree. I believe a motivated Cutler is a high level QB.

He had a lazor for an arm.

Haskins may be the more accurate passer right now but Lock's experience and upside may make him the better long-term prospect. FWIW, Charley Casserly just said that some GM's have rated Lock as the #1 QB prospect, ahead of both Haskins and Murray.

That certainly wouldn't surprise me at all... Lock fits the ideal mold pretty well

and the combo of his arm and athleticism is impressive... Probably one of those

dudes who either lights it up or flames out!

But like I said -- every QB pick is a calculated risk.

I still think Murray is pretty high risk.

Time will tell...

LOCK does have a really quick release (ala DAN) but from what I've seen he has 3/4 release point. Any others see this or think it could be a problem?

Right -- no one has the release of Marino -- but Lock (in term of quickness) seems OK by me.

His release point tends to be lower than ideal -- and he's not consistent -- which he somewhat justifies

as modeling his game after Rogers... That said. I don't see a "problem" with Lock's release point

nor basic mechanics. The ball comes out well and his accuracy has been improving.

It would be really interesting if he's on the board when we pick! Because if we're not

into him you would tend to believe some team might want him enough to trade up...

But ya know -- that would be a VERY ballsy move by Grier -- because if Lock produces and

becomes one of "those guys," he'd be stuck with passing on the QB we've needed for so long!

I'm off the Drew Lock bandwagon. He is borderline. I'm giving him the benefit of doubt, and he just wants to fk around. He is like a five year old, he just wants to play in a sandlot. That's what I'm getting from these interviews, He is not focused. Fk! I don't like it!

A week ago you said he was the truth best qb to come out in years and now you don't like him because he sounds like every other 22 year old. You have a weird evaluating system.
