Drew Lock Meets With Dolphins

Wow. He threw for 44 tds his junior year. I wonder why he didn't come out then.

Would anyone agree that of the 3 QBs Lock is the most ready to start?

Dan Marino had a great junior year... and a lesser senior year....in both cases I think the surrounding talent affected it.

I think Drew Lock is gonna be a guy teams look back on and regret not taking if they passed at the chance.

He reminds me of Mahomes and Rodgers in a lot of ways... big gun, quick release, quick decisions...gunslinger mentality.....mobile.

Quick release is the point to note. He doesn't take many sacks, which suggests he reads it quick and gets rid of the ball quick. The knock on Lock is inconsistency, but that can potentially be coached out.

My goodness, with that level of back peddle and spin you could make an elite cb prospect.

Go find it, where I said this. And when you do not find it, come back and apologize for running your mouth and being an arse.

A week ago you said he was the truth best qb to come out in years and now you don't like him because he sounds like every other 22 year old. You have a weird evaluating system.

If we do late round I can’t think of a better name than “Finley” as a Dolphins QB

Easy, Largo. I love your posts. You keep it interesting.

But I've never seen you be that aggressive.

It's a forum. You keep on with your opinion no matter how much grief you get. But keep it civil.

We all want the same thing- our team not fck around and get it right. You just go about it a different way.

Much respect.

I'm off the Drew Lock bandwagon. He is borderline. I'm giving him the benefit of doubt, and he just wants to fk around. He is like a five year old, he just wants to play in a sandlot. That's what I'm getting from these interviews, He is not focused. Fk! I don't like it!
I read he's visiting 31 teams. He is probably staying as neutral as possible while being happy about his situation without bragging. A tough road to hoe.

I believe that how he behaves after he gets selected will give a much more accurate portrayal of the guy.

In the context of football, when one uses the word elite, one usually references physical skills. You, on the other hand, described being 6'5'' as elite.

So, taking a page from your book, I thought his hair and outfit elite too. Clearly, we should mortgage everything to draft this elite guy.

Elite - a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society.

Synonym for elite...best.

I exaggerated, sure, as we all do, but referring to a guy as “elite” implys “best” especially when you advocate giving up 4 picks in the first two rounds for him.

Now, the script gets flipped because of how he sounds in an interview? Just seems like an odd thing to discredit the player. Especially when you were so high on him.

Would be happy to get Lock. I actually like the interview posted earlier, he's real and comfortable in front of the media, not just the monotone cookie cutter answers.
