Thanks.
I don't see this as good news. I don't know why he'd decline a deal and go back to a rebuilding team that doesn't want him rather than join a playoff team.
But Antonio Brown just showed everyone that the player really does have the power if they are ready to create a **** storm. Quinn's declining play doesnt put him in such a position but with Dolphins luck, we'll be having a disgruntled player back in the locker room.
If you're job tried to get rid of you but they couldn't succeed, would you go back to work without holding a grudge? Maybe some would return with a smile on their face ready to prove the employer wrong. I wouldn't. I'd be pissed. I'd do my job just enough to not get fired, not with effort to be the best I could be.
So you would put out bad tape as a 29 year old player. So you could sign a 1 year prove it deal for pennies on the dollar. All to try to get top dollar again at the age of 31. With 2 years extra years of ware on your body. Sounds like a plan made up by Bells agent last year.
Good point.
It behooves him to continue to play as hard as possible.
I'd still be a bad sport when it came to coaches. That's just me. I would not be a happy camper.
You don’t need to be friends with the coaches or be happy to do what is best for you. And if he doesn’t get traded, I can’t think of a much better place to spend the winter months at.
