Habib: Can’t Argue With Notion Miami Dolphins May Draft Qbs In 2019 And 2020

I think it's time you should, mines from 2019 era, yours is from the early 70's.

Someone who's photo is from 1972 really shouldn't talk

Correction: His is from a time signifying glory & championship football surrounding the Dolphins....yours is nothing but a reminder of terrible QB play and time of utter mediocrity, signifying nothing but mostly failure.

I think they should draft two in this draft. The QB room should be Fitzpatrick, a mid round QB, and a 7th round QB.

If we didn't have so many holes to fill, this is not such a bad idea but to find a reach QB in the 7th is rare.

Another avatar whiner :offtopic:

Try and focus on the subject of the OP

Love the isea and I don’t even care if we use a 1sr round this year and next year.

QB is far and away the most important position and if that’s not settled you are just wasting time and draft picks.

Says the guy who posted this "Last I checked you weren't on the "Avatar police officer". These message boards in the off season makes me giggle.

Or just draft one in 2020 and not waste time and resources. Why go in with the frame of mind of "we may draft one in both drafts". A person who doesn't have convictions would say something like that.

Basically that reads as a smokescreen to me and I hate using the term smokescreen

common sense that they will be picking qbs in every draft until they hit

it doesn't mean a thing until the board falls.

but it's the offseason so i guess it's all we got.

The draft can’t come soon enough so all these “smokescreens” and “heresays” can be over for at least another season.

I stopped by for my daily swim through the forums, saw a couple of school girls arguing about who's training bra fit better, shook my head, and wondered why I even bother coming here.

Well done, girls.

Some still hold Grier responsible for past drafts. The following statement is very telling of the rice with mango (Cuban saying), monkey fking a football front office system we had before the purge:

“I think the one thing maybe we could have all done, and me pushing too, is drafting maybe someone behind him to come through, that could back him up, maybe,” Grier said.

Why would a GM need to push anything other than the numbers on a phone contacting the guy who runs the card up with said GMs, and only said GMs, final decision?

Those who still have a beef with Grier might say that he could be lying so as to not carry blame. But what he is describing in that statement is the very clusterfk operation most of us had a feeling they were running.

Be relieved that there is no ALL anymore. Their is no longer a mosh pit in the war room. The onus is on Grier and Grier alone. We will know by the end of 2019 if he needs to go.

So, Grier blamers, put away your hatchets for the time being and give him the benefit of the doubt. Please.

What is wrong with drafting a QB in two straight drafts...if they both prove to be good to great, you can always trade one away for a high draft pick.

If there is one position teams will give you what you want. It's QB if he's of quality.
