I like this guy and I watched a lot of his games last year. He is a damn good accurate QB over 66% completions and his deep ball is amazing. Very smart. Always looks off the safety. He also has scrambling ability. But, he is a pure pocket passer. Here is some of his highlights from last year. Enjoy! I think he would be prefect for the Dolphins. Fire away.

I like Grier to a point but lots of people here hate him. He'll be an older rookie.

Grier is 24+ years of age and you never want to get a QB who is that old on draft day.
Grier is not in the elite class of quarterbacks because of non-elite arm talent. He made very few elite passes in college and has trouble zipping it far.
Grier's frame is also not ideal, at 6-2, 215, and he took too many sacks in college, which is a bad combination -- less than ideal frame, sacks, and not elite arm talent is a bad combo.

One thing to like about Grier is that he is a gangsta, scores a ton, and throws it deep. The problem is, the ball often hangs in the air.

Will Grier is not a first round quarterback, and the Dolphins have no need for any player who is not first round value, let alone a QB who is not elite, first round value.

In this draft the Dolphins should move up and get an elite quarterback.

PFF graded three QB's from this year's class with grades in the 90's.

Easton Stick,Will Grier, and you know who.

I like Grier.

Now, I have the eye for QB talent similar to a broken clock gets the time right during the day, but outside of Murray and Haskins I think he should be in the convo for #3.

Lmao a 6-2 215 pound qb isn't the ideal size? There's nothing wrong with that size.

I was trying to come up with a comp and how about Jeff Garcia? I like him more in the 3rd round range.

Maybe a fourth round pick on him, we have too many needs to reach for a career backup.

Let me make it a little clearer for your so you can answer each one:

1. Grier is 24+ years of age and you never want to get a QB who is that old on draft day. That is enough to scrap him from the list of draftable quarterbacks. We do not want him, we do not need him.

2. Grier is not in the elite class of quarterbacks because of non-elite arm talent. He made very few elite passes in college and has trouble zipping it far.

That coupled with #1 makes him a scratch from the big board. That's not enough for you?

3. Grier's frame is also not ideal, at 6-2, 215 & he took too many sacks in college, which is a bad combination -- less than ideal frame, sacks, and not elite arm talent is a bad combo. How many red flags would you like to take before you scratch him off the board?!?

4. Grier does not have elite athleticism so we can say okay, we will sacrifice some performance because he is an elite athlete.
How many red flags are enough?!?

The Dolphins need an ELITE quarterback!!!! That is the only type of quarterback that will do!!! Not risks!!! Not in ANY ROUND!
