Quinn To Be A Cowboy Soon??

"Aging" players are in the secondary. Reshad, and TJ. That is a BIG problem going forward. And it is a problem not just because of the age, but because of the contracts. Because of performance. Reshad is not elite. TJ is a tweener.
Robert Quinn is 28, that is not aging, that is a prime player. Juwuan James was not aging. He is in his prime!

To make matters worse, Minkah is a tweener too -- a nickel corner. Howard is not an elite athlete, 40 time, three cone are nowhere near elite, and he wants to get paid next year as an elite player.

That is where the problems are, and they are HUGE. And the huge problems are in the area where the Dolphins MUST improve immediately to win. They must get elite now across the board, all four positions.
Robert Quinn and his 6.5 sacks for $12 million should stay because he is a "prime player".

Xavien Howard, who just made the Pro Bowl, is not an elite athlete based on combine measurements so he should go.

Do you read what you write or this really just an elaborate troll job?

anyone thinking we were going to get a 4th for Quinn, even paying his salary must have been hitting the garum.:punch

My objection is everything, everything is wrong. It starts with the owner who is willing to pay 5 million dollars for a fourth round pick in 2020, just dishing cash out to a departing player; to Chris Grier who has the nerve to ask for that and do it, and increase the cap hit this year so he can play around and "improve" the team "next year." That stuff should not even be mentioned between normal people.

My objection is to the five year plan, because there is no such thing. There is only one plan, one standard, and that is to win now, do now, get sht done now. Otherwise it is a dereliction of duty. They are fkn around.

My objection is that they have not traded up yet for the most important thing, the QB.

My objection is to scrapping the DE position because it creates holes unnecessarily. Robert Quinn is perfectly fine at DE, and not too expensive. Quinn had 6.5 sacks and is paid 12 mil, and that is just fine. He was on a contract for one more year.

My objection is they will use draft capital unnecessarily to fill holes they created! It's a waste of time and resources, and it is damaging.

My objection is to paying Quinn 1.1 million to have a right to trade him for a "late rounds" pick. It's a waste of cash and cap room, and it goes back to dereliction of duty to do now. It is just mind boggling to waste cash and cap like that.

My objection is with infatuation with late rounds picks which are of negligible value, 80 points at best in fourth round instead of keeping a perfectly fine player to help the team this season.

Wasting cash, wasting cap, scrapping the team, intentionally creating holes, selling a pipe dream of results in the future, not getting critical things done. It's all a part of Chris Grier overall fraud.

Good post, bro. You described your gripe coherently and in detail. I can actually see where you're coming from now.

Now was never an option, though. It was/is time to do the very thing we are doing.

And, for all you know, we're in the playoff hunt this year because life is crazy like that. That would cause despair for many here but it would actually mean that our coaches are great enough to overcome major adversity, overwhelming odds.

We had to gut this sucker, bro. We get it. You don't like it. You want it now. How many times are you gonna hit us with this? Move on.

TJ McDonald is 28 and “aging”

Robert Quinn is 28 and “not aging “

It's a trench position man. They take time to get in stride, their prime is after 27. Jason Taylor hit his stride after 27, Cameron Wake too. Michael Bennett did not do much first 4 years, got the contract five years ago when he was 27-28.
Jesus man, with you guys everything is a struggle to explain. I need to write a fkn 100 page report.

Bottom line is this. This owner is an idiot, the GM is an idiot, and they should be fired now for fraud.

Quinn had 19 sacks and lead the NFL in tackles for loss at 23 years old. Someone should let him know that this is really his prime so he can try for more than 6.5 sacks.

I think you should definitely take some time away from finheaven to write that 100 page report, hell why stop there make it 1000 pages. Don't come back until it's published! Make us proud!

Now you know why we should sign FA in the trenches who are in their prime and not waste draft capital, because it is a fraud, it is a stringing by the nose. It is a big fat lie.

Now you know why the secondary is the top priority right after the QB. Now you know why the five year plan is a big fat bs, and why the GM should be fired immediately.

:lmfao:

Yah know I gots luv for you, Largo but this is hilarious.

LOL

you were just wrong as hell dude, no one cares what you say at this point. We are laughing at you, not with you

Quinn is older than TJ. You can't take back the bullshit you are spewing here and try to explain it away.

*also, kamelion pointed out Quinn's best season was years ago. Soooooo

I wouldn’t bother engaging him with logic.

Instead they scrapped the team of a perfectly fine DE and OT, even though there was money to pay them, and they created holes there. Meanwhile nothing is done about the QB, and the HUGE problem in the secondary. Matter of fact, they want to pay Howard, that is why they are scrapping the team.
It's a mess.
My God. I didn't think your posts could get any more ridiculous, and then you quote combine figures as to reasons players aren't elite. Absolutely classic.
