Quinn To Be A Cowboy Soon??

So it's ; 1,2,3,3,4,4,5,6,6,7. ? Whats our next year draft look like now?

He wasn't even close to worth $12 million last year, and that was an IDEAL defensive fit for him.

He doesn't fit this defense at all. So he's worth even LESS to us.

He was going to be cut. Miami got a 6th round pick for a player they were going to cut.

A lot of these naysayers just don’t know what they don’t know. They just don’t understand how the ‘off the field’ game works.

Grier got as much out of this deal as was possible given they aren’t paying any of Quinn's salary. We don’t know whether the option to pay for a higher pick was available or not or whether the Dolphins just opted to retain that cap space.

Either way, they did just fine.

Reactions: A1.
Quinn would have been miscast in Miami's system. Getting anything for a player who, for the third year in a row, proved he isn't close to what he used to be is pretty decent.

If we trade down, that's a lot of ammo next year for a possible move up. That should make some excited.

JJ Watt won all three of his DPOY under his rookie deal...last one was in 2015.

Kalil Mack also won his under his rookie deal...

Aaron Donald....the same (well until this year which is his second contract).

Luke Kuechly won defensive player of the year in his second season.

In fact it seems like Jason Taylor's was more of an anomaly then the norm. (for defensive lineman)
Strahan also comes to mind... I didnt want to spend more than 20 seconds to verify for myself for what seemed obvious to me... So yeah, 17 out of the top 20 sacks season since 2000 were by players 30 or under... No need to go down the rabit hole here...

who's next? Kiko Alonso? The guy was in the Top 5 for tackles last year, right? Also young. I'm sure the Fins can get a 3rd for him. But hmm, who would replace him?
