Draft Wishlist/ Do Not Draft List

Stick to the 2020 plan.

Use the draft to gain more picks.

Don't touch a QB before the 5th round.

Get players, not projects.
 
Want: BPA. If there is a QB the team loves, then I am onboard drafting them, as long as it isn’t a huge reach. I make the BPA exception for the QB position because they are always high risk, and therefore, always somewhat of a reach.

Don’t Want: Reaches (except the QB scenario above), often injured players, or drafting by perceived position of need. There are too many weaknesses on the team to worry about drafting by position, with, of course, QB being the lone exception.

Agree. Go get playmakers and do not worry about the position. Need drafting will result in reaches, without a doubt.
There are plenty of players available in free agency to address the needs.

Okay, its good to see Beau Benzschawel on the list. Because I watched every snap of his against Ohio State last week. and I was questing what I was seeing because everything I read about him was he was just meh. Not that I claim to be an expert or anything, but I honestly questioned whether I knew **** about football or not because BB was dominate. I even came to this board to check Slimms rankings and saw him ranked low and was like, mmkay, apparently I dont know wtf im watching.

I think some don't like his build. I'm fine with the guy. He's a perfect people mover.
 
Not sure if this has been posted Daniel Jeremiah said this week that from everyone he has spoken to around the league, the Dolphins will indeed NOT be taking a QB high in this years draft. They like the 2020 class better.

Basically reiterating what we have all heard for months.

So unless the Dolphins and Arizona are fibbing and they've ran the biggest scams on everyone.....

AZ will be drafting a QB and Miami will not.

I don't know what good it does for Miami to let this news leak out. If other teams thought that Miami would take a QB, it would make teams trade up ahead of them, thereby making a non-QB talent drop further. I think it's better to remain mysterious.

Unless they want everyone to think otherwise becasue they will be drafting a QB high in the draft and this is just a smoke screen
