The Rosen Market

Manning set a rookie record for touchdowns. He flashed. Rosen was literally all around awful.
Well, Goff, then. Or going back further, Elway, Aikman. The Cards may not get a first for Rosen and a 2nd for him is an absolute bargain. He shows issues, you say? Just wait til half the QBs drafted in the first round this year bust. You want a sure thing, you're outta luck. A sure thing will never be available. A 2nd for Rosen would be an unbelievable deal for us.

You lose a year off their rookie contract, coming off a year where he looked terrible, AND he got even more banged up than he was coming out of college... and somehow that's worth a 2nd round pick? They aren't getting anything close to that for him.

As for Goff, I didn't know people actually thought he was legitimately good and not just getting completely carried by the Rams running game.

What is it about him that he was given up on so quickly?

There were lots of rumors about him when he was drafted.

Let's just say, if he was a Dolphin he'd probably be spending most of his free time in Key West.

The fact that he is even being considered to be shopped is a very BRIGHT, BLINKING red light for me.

We only have 7 picks in this year's draft.

With that being said they're all valuable. Different story if we trade down to accumulate more picks.

Point is we can't afford to give up any of our "scarce" picks this year.

So you're saying he has potential to be the next Aaron Rodgers? That would be fine with me!

Rosen really ain't that bad. Can never judge a rookie QB. If you did then Payton Manning would suck to. Rosen can make all the throws. He needs a good coach
All this young qb will need a good coach if they wan survived in pros specially first couple yr...

Ryan Fitzpatrick is a free agent QB who cost the Dolphins nothing to add him to a vacant depth chart. Signing him means nothing for Rosen. If the Dolphins don't get Rosen, it will be because they didn't like him or the asking price was too high, not because of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

1.Bakerfield played good once he had chance. Grade A+ this yr will tell if he is real. must make Playoff
2. Jackson B+ Help ravens make playoff. didn't know how bad he throw football. find ways win. need full off season work out. need improve throwing football.
3. Allens maybe best qb in 2018 draft if coach right. need learn how pass better.
4. Rosens it unfair judge this qb, bad team, bad coach and bad GM.

I like him, and would happily trade a second for him with a view to him being a long-term answer. However I am not the GM and it seems obvious that everything they are doing at the moment points to drafting a QB in 2020, which means that Rosen is not an option.

I agree with the article that Washington is the most likely. I would still consider Rosen a better prospect than Lock and Jones, and potentially Haskins, despite what happened last year.

Yeah... not me... I think Lock is going to be a Star.

If Rosen was in this years draft he’d be the first QB taken.

Can’t wait to see Bellichick trade a 2 for him then listen to everyone crying how smart the Pats are and how our FO is incompetent

Look at all the QB gurus in here proclaiming Rosen sucks because he played like a rookie on a TERRIBLE team.

His story is far from finished. Kid has a ton of potential.

Unlikely they rock the boat like that.

What's the oldest QB ever to play in the NFL because it looks like Brady is going to beat that record.

I think the point is the Patriots are not a team to shy away from a player just because another team wants to trade him. You know they're not thinking, "oh, noes, Rosen will suck because Arizona doesn't want him!" If they don't get him it will because THEY don't like him, or the price, or like you say, Brady, not because of anything Arizona may or may not think about him.
