...that Jay Ajayi will return to our squad?

If the guy is still out there then the chances are thin to none that we will bring him back. Then again it may be that our Dolphins are waiting for after the draft to make a move on Jay??

Coming out of the draft teams thought his knees wouldn’t hold up, last year he tore his acl. So I’m assuming his knee issues will keep him off a lot of teams plans. I also think we’re gonna be looking for another RB who can catch out of the backfield which is why we’ve heard guys like Ty Montgomery and Duke Johnson as possibilities. I rather draft a back late with a couple Oline man and get 1 good edge in draft. Guys I like late Jordan Scarlett, Travis Homer, James williams
 
No, his knee was a legitimate concern and his poor attitude did not do him any favors. Gase was a fool but that is one move he got right. One year later he sits at home waiting for a call because he was burning bridges here and in philly.

We got a NFL record running back for next to nothing and Gase also got that 10 win season because of the dude. So yea if you want to take a long shot to win some games you pick up the guy for nothing see if there is any wear left. But hey we won't because we don't want to win games this year.
 
The guy ran hard and broke tackles all day. I'd take him back so I could be excited every time he got the ball. Who gives excitement like that these days on this team?
 
Hadn't really thought about it, but maybe there's a chance now that Gase is gone. He might be one of those players who signs with a team after the draft.
 
Not a fan... Too expensive now anyway when comparing his shelf life vs. a rook.... Drake and Ballage are good enough with the addition of that one swiss army knife guy that always makes a play... like the dude on the Saints roster ( I forget his name)… QB, WR RB.... no problem … I would love to have a versatile guy like that on our team.... oh where have you gone Jim Jenson
 
I mean if he takes an incentive deal/prove it I don' see why not.

He clashed with Gase, and he's gone now. I don't recall any issues in Philly but to be honest didn't look for them.

Liked the talent and fire he had when we drafted him.

Still disappointed in the week 1 suspension that likely cost us that Seattle loss.

Kalen Ballage is now that beastly prospect for the Miami Dolphins.

Ballage is gonna have a steller year if he keeps himself healthy. Heck I would not be surprised if he plays as many downs as Drake and maybe beat Drake yardage-wise by years end.
