Really Hope No Qb At #13

I really dont like the QBs in this draft, there are red flags with all of them.

Kyler is too small and runs too often.

Haskins is prob the safest QB in this years draft, the only issue is the short sample size but he had great games against top college programs like Michigan.

Lock reminds me of Jake Locker, he has some beautiful highlight reels but if you add in all the bad balls and ints to the tape it's not great. He just looks risky handing the keys of the franchise too. Hes exactly the type of QB I could see John Elway wasting another 1st round pick on in Denver it's almost just a perfect fit.

Daniel Jones is a clone of Tannehill on tape and just sticks of mediocrity and a waste of time for any team who takes him.

I honestly would love it if we got Ed Oliver, at 13, hes been my top choice for months now, If hes there at 13 it would be the steel of the draft. I would also love Johah Williams or Jawan Taylor if they are there, we need help on the Oline bad. If they are gone go after the next best pass rusher, Clelin Ferral. If hes gone prob Montez Sweat or Rashan Gary. There should be one of these guys there at 13, and they all look like great prospects although Montez Sweat kinda scares me because hes a bit of a combine climber but DAMN his combine was impressive.

I'm not sure yet who I want in 2020, alot of things can happen from now to then, last year at this time people were talking about Drew Lock as the next John Elway and then he went out and had a down year in 2019 and hes not even being considered as the top QB prospect anymore this year.

Looking historically at the "bad" qb classes is NFL history there is usually always 1 guy that sticks around and becomes at least a decent QB. If I had to put money on who that QB would be this year it would be Haskins.

I am hoping they grab a QB this year with one of the top two picks (if anyone of Interest is still there), and then grab another next year.

I would be happy with Haskins at 13 honestly but we have so many holes, the best case senerio is prob trying to trade down if we can... I know it's not the flashy thing to do but its probably for the best. This is a deep draft for defensive talent

Hopefully Murray, Haskins, and Lock are all gone by the time we pick. And hopefully we aren't dumb enough to reach for Jones.

Incorrect. The big mistake and the one expected of the idiots running yhe team would be to reach for garbage positions this year, and draft a 6-0 quarterback next year who can't throw a 10 yard out from far hash, from the pocket. That's how we do it.
What qb are you referring to exactly?

We better go Defensive line or Fitzmagic will need to score 50 points a game to keep up with the other team.
No pass rush equates to **** rolls down hill.. Less opportunities for turnovers.

If the draft is so deep at DL, we should draft OL first. There are a couple quality players that can play 2-4 positions - ~flexibility~.

Build the foundation on offense for years to come as it seems almost every draft is deep at DL lately.

Or it could all be a smokescreen.

Whatever. QB is a crap-shoot, next year will be no different. To make it even worse, you have to reach for them every time. Whoever it is they get I just hope he pans out.

the odds are good for a blue-chip defender at #13. We might even see a repeat of last year where 4 QBs go before us

I honestly read this title like someone was hating on Marino. Interesting.

Anyone else worried from all these mock drafts, most have us taking a QB at 13? I really hope this teams plan is to build the trenches this year and grab the best QB next year. All I keep seeing is Drew Lock popping up, really hope this isnt true.

I hope it happens... you get your QB when you can... you never know what next year holds.. there are many teams with aging QB’s that might decide to get in next year... some like New England always have lots of picks to trade.

Would you rather spend one first rounder on a QB this year? Or multiple picks in a bidding war next year?

My biggest fear is Groundhog Day repeating... I’ll never forget Miami passing on Aaron Rodgers to draft a running back....if they pass on another one, and the QB slips to Green Bay or New England?...I will lose it!

if lock is available they will pick him, same thing with jones.
this is not the old dolphins where they pick a fifth rounder in the first.

Funny you should say this because I had Harris pegged as a 5th rounder. If only I could remember who was responsible for drafting him ... :bobdole:

Jones is a 5th rounder lol funny how he says this isn't the old dolphins but adovacates Jones in the first

I see DL as our 1st pick in round 1 but I would take Haskins if he is there. Sure we have needs. But when Washington took 2 QBs in the same draft and later when RG 3 went down they looked smart. If we are all in on a stud QB to solve all our needs as so many fans have gambled the farm on then taking 2 if available back to back drafts in the 1st rounds would be a prudent move.

I would be happy to get Murray. He is a physical freak, and watching him every week would bring badly needed excitement. As others have said, I trust the Grier on down decisions and if their guy is in this year's draft, I'm down.
