For Bobby McCain, yes just because I think his contract is ridiculous. Or like a 5th round pick. Anything more, I'm out.

How does the schedule just being released have any implications about where we need to invest? We have known for months who our opponents are and where we would play them.

I don't look at those things until its actually released.

The actual schedule is further proof this team need to concentrate on adding quality young depth along both fronts.

Not ground breaking. If anything that schedule shows this team wont be playing a bunch of sub .500 teams.

I look at it like this...

If Rosen had stayed for this year...where would he be taken in this draft?

He's as good a passer as Haskins, if that's who we are eyeing this draft....

The real question is what are you willing to give up for each qb available?

Rosen? A 5th round pick

Drew Lock? Draft at #13 (think that the number is a coincidence? Read my signature.)

Kyler Murray I would trade up for but something reasonable. Our 1st, 3rd, and 5th

Haskins I think will fall to us at 13. I dont particularly want him but if everyone else is gone there is value there.

If everyone is gone Daniel Jones in the 3rd or Easton Stick in the 5th.

with regard to Rosen .... if we could work something out starting with a '20 3rd RD pick, it would be like worth taking a shot.

could easily put an escalator in there - such as, if he starts 8+ games, pick becomes a 2d RD pick; and if he starts 12+ games, pick becomes a 1st RD pick.

of course we DON'T want to gamble next years 1st RD pick (or even a 2nd RD pick for that matter), baring some unfortunate circumstances - neither of those happen; but to make it at least enticing for ARI to consider it.

it would give us a chance to get him in the last ~ 6 games of the season, potentially - to see what he really offers ... and heck, we might even be able to flip him.

just NO downside to this ... unless, Fitz gets injured and we have no choice but to play him for a good portion of the season.

I was on the fence on this one, to be honest. I voted "no" because I think he might be available for less if Arizona *wants* to move him. Again, they don't have to.

But that team did Rosen absolutely no favors last year. Did he look awful at times? Sure. But he had some games that were just a complete catastrophe on every level...and he just happened to be the guy behind center.

to be clear, he did NOT have a good year ... could give a myriad of reasons for it - not to mention an abominable OC for the 1st part of the season, just look at Johnson usage ....

definitely NOT singing Rosen praises, but for a 3rd next year .... there just isn't any downside. he 'could' surprise .... or he might not. NO ONE knows .....

but ... we need to be serious about flipping rocks to find a good QB ...

Here's a sadly funny thought on Rosen. SO let's say we pick him up for cheap and he leads us to a 3-win season which gets us the first pick, which we use on Tua. That would be TWO YEARS in a row Rosen leads a team to the #1 pick, which the team then uses to draft his replacement at QB. How many teams would want him the next year for a shot at Lawrence then?

Larry Fitzgerald quite obviously pointed out how awful he thought Rosen was when he said how lucky AB was to have Roethlesberger throwing to him for years.

Armchair opinions are one thing, but the moment a classy WR like Fitz starts openly saying how much you suck is the moment you 100% suck. I was open to the idea of Rosen before that but for me I say hell no now.
