Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker is happy that the Dolphins trusted him enough to bring him back in 2019 and said "they have confidence in me again, have trust in me, have faith in me to sign me back again." Parker also said he's fully healthy this offseason. The 26-year-old was hurt to start last season and wound up finishing with a career-low 24 catches for just 309 yards and one touchdown in 11 games. While Parker has the talent, he continues to underwhelm for Miami and fantasy owners, and he's caught only two touchdowns in the last two seasons and nine total in his four years in the league. Even if he remains the No. 1 wideout in Miami in 2019, Parker's fantasy value is down in the dumps. And Miami's quarterback situation is also troubling.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Parker is not that good of an NFL Receiver.

He seems to fail when catching the ball behind the first down marker - he has poor field presence.

He seemed to be outmanned on contested balls - and he struggled to create separation.

It’s a shame because if you put my soul in Parker’s body you would see the second coming of Jerry Rice.

You all would see an absolute animal not only catching tons of passes - but getting in everyone's faces to raise their game so we would win.

And I’d give a bunch of my money to orphans and widows too.... God made me 5 foot 9 and a quarter and I run like 5.9 40 when running straight down hill with the wind at my back....what are you gonna do???

 I was a little faster at 5.0/40, but I know where you're coming from.

Not to be rude about this, but DK, do you ever check to see if articles have already been posted? I’ve noticed quite a few times it happens, but the original thread already has a discussion going on... sorry for nitpicking, just something I’ve noticed

Anyways, hopefully Parker stays healthy

Yeah, I scan the page. I used to actually check by putting a name- like Devante Parker-in the search bar at the top of the page. But after doing that for the 100th time and never having it find anything, I gave up. I went back and looked , but I didn't find any thread with DVPs name in it.

I gotta admit, I'm curious to see how he works out with Fitzpatrick behind center.

Not that Tanny lacked the arm strength, he just lacked the gunslinger mentality that Fitz seems to have.

I've had this exact same thought. At some point, Tannehill should have just said, "Ehh, **** it," and just started throwing bombs, play calling be damned.

Fair enough, but yeah Danny beat ya to the punch today

I’d rather have you be the newshound than not have this stuff posted though - we all appreciate it!

Have to hope the entire coaching staff change is like
miss Parker landing on a new team where he finds
his game and carves out a legit NFL career.

Or not.

Tanny lacked the gunslinger mentality and Parker lacks a football mentality. Screwed no matter who's behind center.

If he couldn't eat with a top receiver next to him, he is not it. Though, the new contract reflects that, & I'm cool with that.
