What Are Your Draft Day Plans?

Go see my mom in the morning like every morning.......eat before the draft starts so I can be in the VIP chatroom. I will drink water.
 
Took Thursday and Friday off work. Gonna spend all day watching predraft coverage and game tape for the top 50 or so players.

I have 2 TVs set up in the living room so I will have NFL net on one and ESPN on the other one.

If the Dolphins draft a Oline or Dline player I'm high on Ill be happy. If we trade down and still get a player like that I'll be overjoyed. If we draft a QB other than Haskins I will be upset..... if we draft Daniel Jones I'll be a Browns or Chiefs fan full time come Friday morning.
 
Tonight:

Taking care of some yard work and rebuilding my grill (new propane tubes, burner plates, ignitor, thermometer for my monster Ducane grill), then marinating the rack of ribs that's in my fridge. Also, my new TV arrives. I may or may not set it up in the sun porch.

Tomorrow afternoon:

Grill them ribs nice and slow

Tomorrow night:

Watch the draft, possibly in solitude on the sun porch. Eat ribs. Drink a nice porter. Ignore the wife's yammering about how my meal should have included a side dish. React appropriately to the Dolphins' pick(s).

Friday:

I will be avoiding most forms of social media, and possibly this site, to avoid spoilers. Endgame in the evening. Reviewing the picks upon leaving the theater.

I use to do the same thing many years ago. Take Thursday and Friday off and watch draft coverage all day and night.

Took Thursday and Friday off like I do every year. Hit the gym and toss some plates around, maybe take tbe zero turn for a spin in the yard weather dependent, try to clear space on my dvrs for the draft coverage to record on both networks, tell the wife and kids tonight that I will see ya in 72 hours, lock myself in my 3rd floor with enough food and beer for a 4 day binger, see how long it takes for Miami to show it’s asleep at the wheel for the position run that’s inevitably coming, and by all means never ever watch anything sports wise real time. All on delay for me.

So no spoilers Albert lol.
 
Get lawn mowed tonight because of impending rain; work like an animal tomorrow to prep and leave lesson plans for sub on friday because vacation day on Frida
Stay up late Thurs, maybe with my son it will depend on his 17 yr old mood, and watch the first round. Probably on the phone with my girlfriend as she watches a little.
Friday night girlfriend is coming over for a draft party. (Just the two of us)
Then Saturday in and out and celebrate the end of the draft with my 2 year anniversary with my GF with dinner out.
It's Christmas in April. But better, because it's cheaper. And better weather.
 
Go to Work...Leave work...Go to the movies (Watching End Game with some friends)...hopefully we all get home by around 7:30, with plenty of beer and plenty of munchies to see Miami make a blockbuster move that will be felt through all of Nashville to the entire North and South East.
 
This thread delivers. Reminds me why I love this place.

I’ll either be

A) at a local cigar joint with a whiskey and a group of guys who I network with around here watching the draft and likely correcting more casual dolphin fans on misunderstandings about the team

B) at home with a cold drink and the mrs. explaining to her (as she pretends to care) about which player I want and why

Last year it worked out and we got who I had wanted and I expect even more fireworks this year.

I ****ing love the NFL Draft.
 
I'm going to go eat dinner with my twin sister. She is moving out of state in a couple weeks and unfortunately due to heavy thunderstorms last night, we had to reschedule dinner for Thursday.
 
No cable for me so I'll just wait to see who we draft on my phone on Thursday evening.
Friday evening is test and tune at local kart track. Try to get my kart dialed in for Saturday race and then see who we drafted on my phone when I am done.
 
Cry into my pillow as we pass on Drew Lock for some guy who will be out of the league in 4 years.
 
Tomorrow around 2:00 I’ll head to the campsite. From 4:00 - 5:00 I’ll make an arse of myself trying to back the 35 ft trailer into the campsite. It will take about an hour to be completely set up. I’m going with Negra Modelo as my draft party beer. Probably no campfire because it’s supposed to rain.
