*** Official Nfl Draft Discussion Thread *** Round One

The Jets apparently want to trade down. If someone REALLY wants Haskins, that's the spot to get

I agree.....https://finheaven.com/threads/if-murray-doesnt-go-1.354345/page-3#post-7899514

Murray is going 1 and Haskins is probably going 2 or 3 in a trade up. I think a lot of people are sleeping on this kid right now. NYG, Denver and Cincy would be a draft gauntlet to maneuver around for DH (for Miami).

Niners and Jets itching to move down and pick up a blue chipper anyway will likely find a partner. Washington may have to make 2 trades to make something happen for DH.

I am not sure what better use of the fourth pick Jon Gruden can make other than Haskins.

Don’t be lulled to sleep by the process, Haskins is blue chip. After it became assumed Murray was going No.1, 4-5 teams instructed all their scouts and personal to STFU and start praying.

If Haskins and Murray had both gone to Oklahoma or both gone to Ohio State, Murray wouldn't be in this draft.

My gut says to go offensive line in round 1 as the defensive guys are so deep you can still get a quality edge in round 2.

it is for this very reason that I advocate trading down (if it's an option), and getting three quality defensive players from late round 1 through round 2.

I would be ok with a trade down as long as we still get an offensive line early enough. There is a definitive drop off in talent there after the early center's go.

If they trade Albert Wilson I will be upset. I'm counting on him to make an impact on this team the next few years - he was our best receiver before his injury.

We as a collective fan base seem to overvalue average to above average talent. Wilson isn't going to make or break us.

I'm already several Corona's in, chillin on my lounge chair. Watching NFLN is so much better than those buffoons on ESPN.

Maybe Miami gets a double shot at greatness, if the reports on Jawaan Taylor are correct. Especially if Miami drafts Simmons at #13 and gets lucky with Taylor falling to #48? I can dream!!! I'd wet myself if that scenario played out!!!
