I cant quite understand, how people think Rosen has no trade value. We got a 4th and a 7th for Tannehill. Rosen costs a 1/3 of the salary, and hasnt missed years with injuries. Tannehill is basically a backup. A 2nd round pick is great for Rosen. Last year arizona had a terrible team and with hardly any talent on it. It is crazy to think he has little value this year.

I think a 3rd and maybe a conditonal pick.If rosen was in this draft, he would be a 1st round pick.

Based on what he did at UCLA, yes. But if scouts were able to see what he did last year and he were to re-enter the draft. 0 chance hes in the first. he literally showed 0 last year. Doesnt matter how bad the team is around him. You have to show something.

The goal is to win a SB. Rosen is not the guy for that. Neither is Darnold or Josh Allen. All those QBs have no trade value.
Tannehill has more value because he is a veteran QB, he is a better QB, but even that value is low. abut 40 draft value chart points, peanuts. Rosen's value is less than that, about a 7th rounder, 1 point.

This makes absolutely no sense.

you cant be serious with that. 7th rounder for Rosen. Insane. Tannehill makes 7.5 million and we got a 4th and a 7th for hm. He has played 50% of Games in last 3 years. Multiple injuries. Rosen has already been paid his signing bonus. His salary is low for a starting qb. Insane to think a few bad games and now the guy is Trash.

Though i would not give up a 1st or 2nd, Miami giving up a 3rd to me would be fine, and not just for him to become a possoble backup, but for him to compete for the position of starter.

Within one year, we really do not really know what type of QB Rosen could become, QBs like Favre, Brees, Plunkett, did not become better QBs until they moved on, even Tom Brady was not given much chance to prove himself in Michigan, so you never really know...A 3rd for a team that absolutely needs to find that franchise QB sooner rather then later is a good enough risk on guy like Rosen.

Tannehill is a proven commodity, a QB that can start in the NFL and can carry a 90 QB rating. All Rosen has going for him now is that he was a first round pick a year ago and doesn’t cost much.

Tannehill has value. He is a vet, and has value to a team contending for a SB to step in and keep the team going in contention if starter goes down. His salary of 7 mil is peanuts for a vet. Budget for QB room is 30 million per year in the NFL.

Rosen has no such value. He is not as good, he is young, not a vet, so has no second QB value to a contending team. Plus, he is not good enough to be #1 to contend now and invest in him.

Tannehil was traded for 46 points, that's peanuts. A fourth round pick is worth about 60 points, but the Dolphins had to give up a sixth round pick which is 15 points. seventh round pick is 1 point. Therefore, the value of Tannehill was 60+1-15 = 46 points. Rosen is not worth as much because he is not as good a back for a contender, nor is he good enough to start and have a SB window with. His value is practice squad.

I dont see any reason to give up draft picks and get Rosen unless were willing to actually make him a starter one day.... trading for Rosen would prob mean were passing on a high QB next year and this whole tank for tua idea is out the window.

Getting Rosen would be a depressing move and would ruin the weekend for me personally.

I just dont think hes that good.
