Here's what I am thinking and this is all pure speculation. There's a report that we are interested in Rosen. We trade down in the 1st rd, pick up an additional 2nd and in the 2nd we trade our pick to Arizona for Rosen. We get a QB, but keep a 2nd with the trade in the 1st. Arizona gets rid of Rosen and a 2nd. This is not what I really want to happen, but just thinking extemporaneously.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports that the Dolphins have their eye on several players with the 13th overall pick, including quarterbacks Dwayne Haskins and Daniel Jones. However, teams they have spoken with leading up to the draft have gotten the impression Miami is “very motivated” to trade down in the first round.

Terrible article,

"In an off season where there have been reports that the Dolphins have gone into tank mode, trading down from a spot where they could land one of the 13 best players in the draft probably would not be received well by their fans."

I think most informed fans/dolphins faithful would be happy if we trade back, especially with all the holes we need to fill.

out 7 pick we may end up w 2 good player this yr. u must hit on first guy.

The dream scenario is that the Giants, Chargers or Raiders attempt to leap frog Washington into our spot if one of the QBs is there. This is what the Dolphins are probably hoping happens by putting out the contradictory message that they might take a QB at 13 but are also interested in Rosen.

The better the trade down package, the more willing you are to spend a third round pick either this year or next year on Rosen, which I can live with.

NFL network reported the Dolphins like 2 QB's at 13 and you have to figure one of them is a smoke screen.

Haskins and Daniel Jones. My guess is Daniel Jones is the smoke screen.

Most teams know if Haskins reaches 13 he's gone. Dolphins dont like Jones that high in round 1 so they trade down because Haskins is gone.

Daniel Jones and Josh Rosen linked to us in the same thread..... I'm gonna be sick..... like for real physically Ill after reading this

If Miami really is going to stink this year and have top picks in 2020 I’m fine with them trading down today. I want Rosen for a 3rd.

Miami is all in for 2020. I'm looking at a trade down and accumulating more picks in 2020.
