Say what you will, but we screwed the pooch for passing on this guy.

Mark my words, we screwed up by signing Fitzpatrick. He is going to play well throwing to Stills, Wilson, Parker, Drake and Gesicki......and he'll likely land us 6 wins and the 13th pick in the draft again. We are going to have to mortgage the farm to move up to get our guy next year.

We could have drafted Haskins and kept every pick for the next 2 years and littered our team with fresh talent. I can't believe he fell to us and we passed. We are going to be kicking ourselves for a decade.

I know we need DL and OL very very badly, but when someone falls in your lap you gotta take him!

Holy cow a decade of drafting DT and DE in the 1st and 2nd round. When does the nightmare end? :bang:

We should know by now that outside of the once-a-decade Andrew Luck's , QB picks are a total crapshoot...now Haskins may be good or he may not, but saying he's a "sure thing" is reckless, especially when other teams with QB needs (Giants, Bengals) passed on him as well.

Yeah none of that will happen.

We will draft a QB early next year.

Heck id be ok with even waiting till 2020 and going all in on lord Trevor.

Some of yall have no patience and cant grasp the idea that this team is rebuilding and not the one year offseason rebuild crap weve been doing.

We're not the only team that passed on him. What does that say? We got a great player in Wilkins who is a high character guy and very smart and on top of it he's a great leader. I'm very happy we're sticking to the plan.

I like Haskins and would have loved to see the Dolphins select him, but understanding the vision for 2020 qb draft I'm willing to see how things play out. I must admit I am concerned about the assumption that Miami will have a top three pick and a shot at one of the qbs. I'm not sold that the 2019 team will perform worse than the Cutler led Dolphins and that team won enough game to fall out of the top ten in the draft. Remember the defensive struggles, the poor o-line play and Cutler's leadership.

Why do so many people think that Ryan Fitzpatrick is suddenly going to turn into an excellent QB who will play all 16 games?

Exactly, dude won 2 games as the Bucs starter with significantly better offensive talent...now they expect him to all of the sudden lead a team with one starting level offensive lineman, the all-midget team at WR and a TE who stumbles while walking to the restroom...

Did anyone expect anything but incompetence from Chris Grier and this franchise? This strategy of punting the QB until 2020 is fools gold. Drafting a 3-tech with a top 15 pick when you are devoid of talent, and they guy isn’t even an athletic freak lmao only the Dolphins.
