Pft - Miami Close To A Deal For Josh Rosen (merged)

I would be ok for a third. Getting a 2018 first round talent for a third in 2019 is great. You can’t take any judgement out on his performance with Arizona. He wasn’t John Beck bad.
 
A 3rd for Rosen, give him time to mature this year. If we suck, then we can get a king's ransom for our high pick next year.
 
I’m down for trading a 3rd for Rosen. His value is dropping and the Cards need him gone. Him and Murray on the same team might not work lol. But, I have a feeling that the Pats make a move for Rosen. This has got to be Brady’s last year and as of right now, they have no one to replace him.
 
Not a fan of trading for Rosen at any price. I would rather spend a higher pick for someone like Lock, or just burn a late rounder for a developmental prospect. Rosen is fool’s gold. You saw the Cardinals war room last night doing absolutely nothing waiting for a trade offer to come in. No one called.
 
With the Cardinals losing all leverage, I would either offer a third or Reshad Jones for him. He is still on his rookie deal so the monetary impact wouldn't be disastrous. Between Fitzpatrick making 5.5 million and Rosen making (I think) $4 million, that is a fraction of what teams like the Lions are paying for an overrated QB that led his team to the 8th draft pick and probably won't be much better this season.
 
While I don’t recommend wasting a year, I’m concerned that Risen didn’t exactly tear it up in college. His stats were pedestrian and his winning percentage wasn’t that great. Then after watching all of his games as a Cardinal, it seemed to confirm my suspicions.
 
Everything I hear and read says he is not a team player and is a locker room cancer. No thanks. If they love Lock, I think we need to move up tonight ahead of the Raiders. I don't think Grier in the 2nd makes sense, but I also don't think he makes it to us round 3. Draft best available for other positions of need and hope we get our QB next year.
 
I don't want Rosen at all. Let it ride with Fitzpatrick this season and draft a QB next year. If they trade for Rosen they probably wouldn't draft a QB in the 1st round next year.
 
I think it’s just the media connecting the dots. We passed on Haskins , need QB, YADA YADA
 
Who else ahead of us in round 2 needs a qb? If Lock is there at our pick, do you take him?

Nobody ahead of us needs a QB, but I bet the Raiders take Lock in round 2, pick 36 (I think). I know they have been linked to him but neither of their picks last night were predictable, so who knows. Denver's the other team that I think would grab him.
