Armando Rumor : Dolphins Serious About Trading For Josh Rosen

bag of used footballs, maybe the mannequin from the team store with the uniform on it, and the used Parker jersey for sale they've got in there.

Spot on. The Cardinals can tell everyone that they're happy keeping Rosen but nobody is buying that. Rosen has unfollowed the Cardinals on social media and is an out spoken young man. He's going to kick up a fuss if they don't trade him soon.

Does Rosen fit into Miami’s culture?
The Dolphins – led by Grier, but coached by Adam Gase last year – were not enamored with Rosen after meeting with him during the pre-draft process in 2018.

Rosen was valued, but not as much as the Dolphins valued Baker Mayfield or Sam Darnold last year.

The Dolphins evaluation may have had some merit: Rosen finished his rookie season completing just 55.2% of his passes with 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions with a 66.7 rating after 13 starts with a 3-10 record.

But why the sudden change of heart?

If the Dolphins are considering a trade for Rosen, it’s because new coach Brian Flores and new offensive coordinator Chad O’Shea believe he could make a difference in Miami’s offense.

Consider this: Miami’s third-round pick this year, the No. 78 pick, could sign a four-year deal worth $3.6 million with a signing bonus of nearly $900,000.

Essentially, the Dolphins could just draft a third-round player – perhaps, a quarterback like West Virginia’s Will Grier or NC State’s Ryan Finley – and keep him for another year while saving about $3 million they could pay Rosen.

Like I said he's going to kick up a serious fuss if they don't trade him soon. Cardinals can dream on about trying to convince other teams that they're happy to keep him around.

Time to get something sooner rather than letting this situation get uglier as it goes on.

On the subject of the Cardinals... I have no idea how Steve Keim still has a job there. He's made some horrible decisions since Carson Palmer retired last year.

With QBs you keep trying till you get it right, trade a 4th this yr and a conditional 3 next. If it works great if not we have a bu. We could trade Fritz for a pick next yr if a team suddenly needs a qb. Rosen has the tools to be a great player. Says he has a chip on his shoulder. Showed up for all of the cards off season activities. Brady would have looked like shxt in that offense
