Pft - Miami Close To A Deal For Josh Rosen (merged)

This team is such junk this year I believe it would be a wasted effort.

Rosen problem last year was the O-Line and he hesitated throwing the ball had a hitch in hiss throws. Guy has a gotten a raw deal so far. I liked Rosen coming out but if the goal is to go QB in 2020 this makes no sense.

Not to Rosen, we want that 2019 QB - he doesn't make sense at any level if he's a mediocre starting QB

None of the 2019 QB's are a guarantee. I'd trade a 3rd for him and see what we have. Then you can still draft a QB in 2019 or 2020.

People we can trade a player(s) we don’t have to trade a pick(s)

We have all the leverage let’s use it for once

Rosen was a cancer to his own team at UCLA. When you're winning and the superstar QB its hard to alienate your teammates … but that's what Rosen did. The fact the Cardinals brought in Kingsbury specifically to change this offense and move away from Rosen is about as big of a red flag as one can get. I'm not on-board with bringing in a proven cancer at the most important leadership position on the team. I didn't like Rosen coming out because of this, and now there's more data points saying the same thing … do not acquire Rosen, it's not about the cost to acquire him, it's about the destructive cost of handing over team leadership to a cancerous personality.

IMHO, no thanks at any price.

I was thinking to sit him behind Fitz as insurance - I am still all in on a QB in 2020

If I can salary dump to get Rosen and move on from him next year - I am down with that

What if Rosen comes in and lights it up, does great. Do we still draft a QB in 2020?

If that happened I doubt they would draft a QB in 2020. At least not use a high draft pick on one. I would rather them not get Rosen and just draft a QB in the 1st round next year.

Basically you are trading for a QB that has the suspect of being a cancer and bascially make him sit a year and put him in same situation he is this year by drafting Tua, Fromme or Herbet next year

I'd draft a QB in the fourth like Jackson
