If we are going to rebuild the team right, we really shouldn't be wasting our time with guys who are aloof and lack leadership qualities. Flores has said, we are looking for foundational, team first players, not me first, douche bags. OK, he didn't use the word douche bag, but if the hose fits...

Note: It is being reported that the Cards are asking for a 2nd round pick. We are bidding against ourselves, if we give that up I am going to puke!

Ok... but that was only because the coach they just hired has always had an infatuation with Murray, and feels he’s a better fit for his scheme

If our FO truly believes that Rosen can fit our offense, and they truly believe he has the potential to be a franchise QB, then they’d be foolish to pass.

And yes, I said “potential” because that’s all any young player is. Just like any QB in the 2020 draft. Solely potential, no sure thing

I agree with you. All these people who wan't to trade for Rosen don't get it. I doubt he would beat out Fitzpatrick and there are much better QB prospects coming out in 2020. I can wait one more year to get one instead of making a desperate move now. And for all the people that are saying at worse he could be a good backup QB, you usually don't trade 3rd round picks for backup QB's.

Giving up a 2nd round pick for Rosen would be horrible and that would mean the Dolphins have no intention of drafting a QB with a high draft pick in 2020. Grier and company would sink or swim with him.
 
If we indeed just traded 48 for Rosen, we BETTER have a plan to fix the OL quickly.

I'm assuming Fitz still starts week 1?

That seems kind of risky at this point.

A 2nd rounder is kind of a commitment to Rosen. So they better just cut Fitzpatrick and start Rosen from the jump if they do this. They need to see if he sinks or swim. If we end up with another Tannehill teaser it will be the death of the franchise.
 
Well at least they and OL to protect him. Especially since other teams in the division improved their defenses. Lol
 
I really wish we had more picks so it wasn't such a back breaker. There is no point to having Fitzpatrick taking any snaps if Rosen is healthy this year.
