“We were deeply disturbed by what we heard, we were deeply concerned,” Veach told reporters. “We decided that at this time and for the foreseeable future, Tyreek Hill will not take part in any team activities. We are going to gather more information, we’re going to evaluate this information, and we will make the right decision regarding Tyreek Hill.”

The audio is compelling. And troubling.

“He is terrified of you,” Espinal says. “And you say that he respects you, but it’s not respect.”

Hill says, “He respects me.”

“It’s terrify,” she says, “he’s terrified of you.”

“You need to be terrified of me, too, bitch,” Hill says. “That’s why you can’t keep a f–king man.”

Hill previously pleaded guilty to choking and punching Espinal while she was pregnant with the child.

Kc might need to reevaluate how they draft players. Maybe character needs to be on the list. The browns will probably have the same issue

They made a conscious decision that they were going to draft guys who legitimately qualify for the label of 'thug' and then act surprised and outraged when those guys wind up doing thug-like things. Overall, the team has been pretty good since Andy Reid got there, so I think it's unlikely that they will reevaluate anything.

Besides, Andy loves these guys. They remind him of his kids.

Nasty!

To be fair, the surviving son that had issues seems to be doing well now.

I still laughed though.

Perhaps, but Andy Reid is an enabler of people who are not just self-destructive, but actively harm other human beings. Not going to pull my punches on a message board for someone like that.

I'm ok with Nasty!

It's in me name.

BNF

That said, I don't know enough about Reid to make any definitive personal judgements.
But I will say this, for most HCs in the NFL the bottom line is winning and that comes
with some "compromises" many times. Doesn't mean it's "right," it just is...

Last, I doubt Reid could give a crap anything noted on this forum so --- who cares, right?

Bingo. He cares about winning football games, even if it means enabling legitimately disgusting human beings. I don't think someone talking **** about him on a message board would even rate a blip in his mind.

And it shouldn't, really. But the whole covering up for and enabling scumbags thing, that should probably rate somewhere.

Only a dweeb like Gase would take the time to read a fan message board...

The Chiefs used a 5th on Hill. They've already more than got their value from him even if he never plays a down again. The problem is the Chiefs can draft him full well knowing he's a piece of ****, take moral high ground when he acts like a POS, cut him and lose nothing.

Until the organization is held accountable for knowingly employing guys like Hill, they'll always be drafted. There's no down side at a certain point in the draft. There should be.
