*** Official Nfl Draft Discussion Thread *** Rounds 2 & 3

McCoy, Risner and Ford would likely start right away so that’s going to be hard to resist if we have a shot at just one.

You guys talking about WRs make me want to puke.

Winovich would be tempting to add to the front 7 along with CW.

If you hit on a CB you likely have the best secondary in the league so there’s that.

I want a pure rush lb not a 34 olb ideal ask. Someone who can play off the ball in packages and not look miscast yet provide pass rush and occasionally go up against a tackle and flush and close on the qb.

Betting Miami does too

Right now I think interior o lines tbe value play at 48. Although that could change in 10 picks tonight

I like banagu of tcu. I just wonder if I can get him at 73 instead of 48. Explosive can rush and flush off the edge. Not gonna be asked to win one on one on an island schematically and not be able to help you otherwise. Pats use decoys to get their pass rush probably more than any team in the league. But like a lot of other foreign players I wonder if he possesses the aptitude for it at the pro level. Chance I take unless I found out he’s dumb as rocks in interviews etc. I’m gonna assume that he’s likely relatively new to the game.

Rush lb wise I think he’s ideal. In terms of the north south part of it. And he’s likely very scheme specific unless someone takes a more risky chance than Miami would be ask wise. Which is why pick 73 may be possible.

Pats played 13 snaps in a 34 in 18. Im not overdrafting a 34 olb ideal ask for a scheme that can’t find snaps for it to validate.

Interesting only 13 snaps in the 3/4 defense. So who would make sense at #48 @ DE for Miami? Jaylon Ferguson? I've seen Allen the BC DE mocked to Miami @ #78 in several mocks today. But, He's more of a traditional 3/4 DE.

We were just talking about him in chat. Silver likes him a lot too

I like anthony Nelson and omenihu but the boards gonna dictate where. Nelsons better outside shoulder that inside. But poa wise at that height he’s gonna have to learn to use his length and keep guys off his chest.

Omenihus frame and length I think is ideal for tbe scheme as long as you aren’t asking for double digit sack production. Another foreign guy what’s his mental aptitude? Answers I’d need.

I also liked C.J. Collier but I didn’t like him where Seattle took him. But he was on my list. Heavy hands.

I want a day 3 nose for the rotation also.

I’m interested in jaylon Ferguson but I’m not sure where. Heavy hands. But you almost gonna have to run into him cause the athletes average.

The one thing that stood out about Omenihu is his run stop percentage. It was highest in the nation in 2018 amounts DE's

Yeah base de. Outside and inside shoulder poa player

Just not counting on him to give me high sack production consistently which is fine cause I’m gonna do it with scheme and decoy and rush lb etc.

We need more at the poa players. We only have 2 guys that I would even consider solid at the poa. Or at least very consistent with it.

The LSU dt who is a bull and Woodard who is probably career depth rotation material.

Nope. Lol. I’m interested in that cominsky kid too as a developmental player. Probably day 3 though. Wouldn’t surprise me though if someone turned in that card today off the test scores and the frame

At some point Will Grier becomes a value pick, with lock slipping Grier could be pushed into the 3rd round at that point he would be on my board for sure.
