Expect The Fins To Continue Picking Defense As Draft Progresses

Yep.

It’s defense all the way, maybe with a small sprinkle of developmental OL in very late rounds.

There is no way we will spend much currency on protecting Fitzcake in 2019. Build the D and let the O lose games for us so we will have a legit chance at a high pick in 2020.

This is the way to build your team and tank all in one shot. Our Defense will be better, but we will lose games because we won’t be able to score worth a damn.

Fitz will take many hits, and I’m ok with that. That’s just the way that Fitz’s cake (and O-Line) crumbles
 
I can see it the other way too. Get an OG and OT this year to build up chemistry and understanding in the system. By next year they have a year under their belt and will, hopefully, be more productive in protecting a new QB.

With that said, I would love to see one of those CBs slide to us in the 2nd. Just make that secondary really difficult to throw on with X, Jones, Minkah, rookie, and McCain/Tank in the slot.
 
Well, it’s a defensive draft. So my opinion is that the stars have aligned somewhat.

Fins strategy & The D talent of this draft. The 2 are aligned, and that’s good for us
 
As long as we're drafting fat boys upfront on either side, I'm happy. I'm tired of being soft. I do think we need to get at least one O-lineman tonight though. However, there's some really good CBs that could fall to us in the 2nd round. That would be hard to pass. Our #2 CB spot was awful. If we can get a #2 CB, we can put Fitz at FS and McCann back in the slot.

I’d be willing to bet NO oline today.
But yeah, getting Minkah to his natural position is a priority. Lord, the man doesn’t even know what weight to come in at

Can’t see WR, RB, TE, LB or S at 48.

Bingo.


You draft more than 1 good lineman, you can kiss a top 5 pick good bye. We got plans for 1, & that's it from a "reloading" perspective.
 
well...not if we give our 2nd for Rosen. If he is brought here we have to shift our draft strategy and start bringing in OG/OT players to protect him. How are we going to be able to determine if he is good if we dont provide him with a decent OL?

are we supposed to go into the season with Tunsil, Asiata, Kilgore, Reed and Davis as our OL? Fitzpatrick better learn to run

That sounds amazing, no reason we should accidentally win more than a few games with that being the case. Keep drafting defense
