We better be getting a pick back also. A straight up 2nd round is WAY too much. Also wonder how this impacts the Tua race or mindset for Miami.
I agree. I’d be okay with that, but the rest of this draft needs to focus on the trenches. That would make it more palatable.
But bottomline, if this trade goes down, Rosen must start DAY ONE or its a waste. We NEED to know what we have in him going into 2020. Can't have Fitz playing most of the season and then have a 4 game end of season teaser from Rosen that leaves us on the fence and passing on an elite QB in 2020.
Just speculating, but what if we get a pick next year in return? Like a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th rounder. How would you all feel about it then?
My guess is that we’ll get a day 3 pick back- the Cardinals have 6 picks tomorrow.
Because if you trade away future picks you always have to add extra picks because you do not know what draft position you will be in.Why would they give up a second round pick why not a future pick?
I was wondering if the Pats could be offering a 2, since they have multiple 2nd rounders.I'm all in on bringing Rosen to Davie but would have preferred a 3rd rounder. It is possible that we had to beat another offer, like maybe from Belichick which would have a bearing on the price.
edit: if it's not been mentioned yet, Rosen has already unfollowed the Cardinals on twitter and IG this morning.
