Pft - Miami Close To A Deal For Josh Rosen (merged)

The same buffoons that picked our new head coach. Going to be a long 4-5 years if this is true :poop

I actually suspect Flores has real potential. Not that he will ever be given a good team

But trusting the same idiots that ran the roster into the ground to rebuild it is madness

I'm all in on bringing Rosen to Davie but would have preferred a 3rd rounder. It is possible that we had to beat another offer, like maybe from Belichick which would have a bearing on the price.

edit: if it's not been mentioned yet, Rosen has already unfollowed the Cardinals on twitter and IG this morning.

I think that other competing teams was a concern. If we infact wanted Rosen I felt it was better to get the deal worked out before the second round pick. Not for a second but before the pick incase we were eying another QB.

I typically dont have Bellechick draft paranoia but Rosen would have been a good fit for New england.

I understand what your saying. But it gets questionable if Miami passes on a QB in 2020 for a guy with questionable personality traits. Those 2020 QB's are head and shoulders better than Rosen.

I mean then we go after Lawrence in 2021. It don't stop.

I still believe Rosen can be a franchise QB. At this price it's definitely a good value for Miami.

See where we stand after the season.

I just flat out don't like this kid's attitude.

Not a fan of this move. I get it, but I'm not a fan at all.

I don't either, but got to remember that Dan Marino was one of the biggest assholes around... He still is.

That being said, Rosen gives me kind of a Cutler vibe and I could see his career mirroring his... which would mean another wasted decade.

Chargers, Patriots, Saints likely interested in Rosen to some extent. The rest of the league isn’t going to let us have him for free because of circumstance.

I don’t think we are negotiating against ourselves.

Better find a way to beef the offensive line somehow if they want to see how he plays without getting his head taken off often

I figured it would take more than a 3rd rounder, and I suspect that we’re having to outbid either NE or LAC. Hopefully Rosen works out if this comes to fruition.

Just heard from a good friend, who is a Patriot's fan, and usually tells me things regarding them that is legit. Apparently the patriots were interested in Rosen as well, and had made several inquiries regarding what it would take to get him. Maybe thats why a 2nd round is what it takes to bring Rosen here, if the patriots were offering a 2nd. Even with all this....I still hate it!!!
