I would be fine with this if we got a 3rd or 4th round pick in return along with Rosen.
 
One thing is certain, Rosen will yet again be a polarizing QB for the Dolphins fanbase.... There will be a faction who loves him and want to wait forever for him to develop, and one that will hate him and want to dump him as soon as he throws a single pick.

Why not just do a 2020 conditional 2nd rounder and call it a day. If it doesn't convert, it's a 2020 3rd.

That’s my exact thoughts no line to protect him....makes no sense at all.
 
Why would you give up a 2nd for a player that has zero market value right now, to the point where a 4th rounder looks a bit pricey.
