Pft - Miami Close To A Deal For Josh Rosen (merged)

A 3rd this year, and a 4th next year I may be OK with. A 2nd this year? considering all the talent that is still there in the 2nd rounf, No way! They, may even have the opportunity to trade down in the 2nd and get a 3rd this year, which will make me feel a lot better about giving Zona a 3rd round in this draft.

I am glad this is still a rumor, but the prospect really makes me cringe. Rosen for a second will be known as the pick that marked the beginning of the end for this new regime. Arizona has ZERO leverage in this. Rosen’s value is almost nothing. Who in their right mind would make this deal?

I wonder what y'all would have thought giving up a 2nd rd pick for Goff after his rookie year with Fisher?
There would've been a bidding war for Goff. Cardinals are finding it hard to find a buyer for Rosen. Miami are the only team in negotiations with them.

Dolphins may take this into their pick... If there is a player there they really covet, they may pick him and tell Cardinals to kick rocks and accept a 3rd or lower... and if not, they may do the deal and ask for a late rounder in return.

I want this to happen now just so I can read the reactions on here.

Y'all are going crazy over trading a 2nd round pick for Rosen.Relax.It's a good trade

How do you get the first pick in the NFL draft. See royal screw up below. We only screw up things in a mediocre way so we get the 11th to 19th pick year after year.

In 2018, the Cardinals invested as heavily into the quarterback position as any team in the NFL. They paid Sam Bradford $16 million. They paid Mike Glennon $5 million. They traded their first-round pick, third-round pick and fifth-round pick to move up to draft Josh Rosen.

And now it’s a total reboot.
