Pft - Miami Close To A Deal For Josh Rosen (merged)

The dude just tanked his way out of a job last year. The tank is rolling down hill at full speed if we use a second rounder on him. Hes already shown he can do the job. I just rather let fitzpatrick do it without giving a second rounder up.
Who is "the dude"? Rosen?
Are you familiar the crap **** team the Cardinals were? They didn't "tank". Nobody tanked in Zona. It was an awful team. And they still are.

And what if they use that 3rd round pick that can be a starter? I would take a starter at any position over a backup QB.

The point is that we need a qb and rather than put ALL of our eggs in next years draft class, we our giving ourselves more possibilities to find that guy.

I find it hilarious that people say, "a third, yes but a 2nd no freaking way?" Is there really that much of a difference?

Oh FH.
The same people who gave our last "franchise" QB 7 years and more to reach that unlimited ceiling are willing to toss the towel on a top 10 pick after one year in a cluster **** system named Arizona Cardinals. Brilliant.

I prefer a 3rd round pick but if it requires a 2nd rounder to hold off a team like NE (or any other team with the luxury of multiple 2nd round picks) I grab on to that opportunity.

Most here are just concerned that the wet dream "tanking" will be tossed aside. But it's OK. Instead of bitching about any win we might get which will take us away from "tanking" you guys can get the immediate "world burns to the ground" feeling. You can just bitch and moan all offseason about Rosen and our awful FO and horrible coach and how you would have done it all better.

If I am the Dolphins and I have the opportunity at a potential franchise QB for a 2nd rounder I'll do it.

Rosen is a lateral move in my opinion from Tannehill. Except Tannehill had a chin.

With the talent still on the board tonight, a second is a starter, possibly the guy that will keep Rosen's jersey clean.

Talent drops off pretty well after the second round.

My thing is this, Flores demands a certain locker room. He demands everyone respect each other. If he thought Rosen would be a negative or unapproachable teammate, he would never allow him around this team.

Yeah he didnt try to do it. He was just bad enough to do it. Im not sure which is worse. But hes coming to a loaded miami team so im sure he will flourish.

I think there's a pretty big difference between pick #48 and pick #75 or what-have-you. Talent dropoffs happen in stages, and I think the middle of the second round is about when you get one of the big ones.

if its a 2nd, that means he's the franchise QB they're waiting for. Better draft OL in the 3rd and 4th.

Just like the Dolphins.

And watch....if he comes here they'll give him #17.....just what we need after 7 long, ineffective, soul crushing years watching another with that number "lead" our team.
