Pft - Miami Close To A Deal For Josh Rosen (merged)

I wish you guys would quit your bitchin man you guys act like females man, anytime you pay a second round pick for a player who went 10Th overall the year prior is a steal. Do I wish we could get him cheaper? Of course but even with we do our expectations are unrealistic I've never seen a fan base cry so much it's embarrassing to be a dolphins fan when my peers act like this it's so ****in annoying man. Just give the new staff a chance without complaining and shut up damn .

You guys are not NFL personal who makes decisions because if you were most of you would be fired before the first three months.

It's not like he was all that good in college either. Even if he had the perfect disposition and didn't have leadership questions I still wouldn't give up anything for him as he'd take up $ and a roster spot and cost a quality pick because he's nothing special. We'd just look dumb for dumping him next year when we draft a QB1 high.

The Cards are so screwed up I'd offer them next years first for Murray...lol

I've got two points.

1) personally, I'd prefer to watch 16 Rosen starts than 16 fitztragic starts in 2019.

2) the cards gave up a treasure trove to jump ahead of us last year to select rosen, so they will be the losers in this regardless of what pick any team trades them for him.

I'd not offer anything higher than a 4th and if they say no we'll draft a QB in 2020 who will most likely be a better player anyway.

Arizona's pitch:

"...gotta a nice juicy turd for a 1st!

how about a 2nd?

will you give me 3rd for my turd?

any word?"

Sorry. I'm in juvie mode with all this Rosen crap...

Ugh...

That seems kind of risky at this point.

A 2nd rounder is kind of a commitment to Rosen. So they better just cut Fitzpatrick and start Rosen from the jump if they do this. They need to see if he sinks or swim. If we end up with another Tannehill teaser it will be the death of the franchise.

It would not be the death of this franchise but ok

Yeah I don’t know man. They just drafted witb the #1 pick another qb not even a full year later. Maybe some of its youth but I can’t say I blame him really

I would be livid too. He has every right.

On the other side though, you're a pro now. You're not a 5 star HS golden boy. You're not a Heisman contender in college. You're a 2nd year pro after a bad season who knows he's under the microscope. When you're in the spotlight you always have to be aware of the optics. If he wants to be traded, make yourself appealing.

The problem isnt if a 4th is better than a 2nd but rather is he a personality fit in a rebuilding team. There is a history of him dating back to college about not getting a long with people. I would prefer not to have that around our team regardless of value.

My point is they must like Rosen a lot more than they liked Haskins. I don't like either of them personally.
I get it, I just don't know why you think that. If Haskins and rosen were sitting there for us for free, and we could only take one of them, what makes you think we wouldn't take Haskins over rosen?

Am I missing something?

Yeah as where will Rosen go is beyond anybody's guess. But need a QB for the Fins.

if we do this for anything lower than a 2nd, this is an absolute steal for us. If we do this for a 2nd, this is absolutely terrible for us. There is no in between
