Pft - Miami Close To A Deal For Josh Rosen (merged)

Did I ever say everything on the internet is true?

You said you know nothing factual about him.

It’s called google bro, learn it.
Google isn’t fact bro. That’s my point. How many first hand sources have you interviewed? You and I are both going on reports. The fact is he offers value. First round pick and we give up 2nd or less. That is value. At a need position. Usually Miami draft a first rounder then trades or loses him for less value. Might want to start getting in on the other side of these deals like the pats do sometimes.

If we had anyone in the FO worth a damn they'll wait until our pick time comes and then get the Cards on the phone telling them either they sweeten the deal a lot or we'll just go ahead and take our 2nd round pick.

Here’s a PSA

If there are articles written to tell the world you’re not weird, you’re probably weird.

Rosen’s knock isn’t something you just “fix”. Maybe the kid balls and everything ends up ok, but it’s a bet I wouldn’t want to take.

Agree to disagree. 2nd round pick should be a starter on the oline or a starting DB. We are gonna be in position for Tua next year, maybe Trevor the following year.

Also, neither of us has interviewed any sources ourselves. But the fact is, people have been talking about his character and not being a leader for years. You don’t have to believe it if you don’t want to but it’s been reported numerous times by numerous people. It didn’t just come out of nowhere, there’s some smoke there.

I’m not a fan of his at all obviously but I can live with a 4th rounder.

I don’t see the value in a second rounder, and as of right now it looks like nobody does, including the Patriots.

Except we have the benefit of seeing how he plays in the NFL and thus far he has played like dog ****. He is worth a 4th at best.

Didn't Peyton Manning stick his crotch in a female trainer's face at TN and then go on to have a miserable first season with the Colts?
No he didn't. He threw a lot of interceptions sure, but he also broke the records for yards and touchdowns by a rookie. The whole "Peyton Manning sucked as a rookie and he turned out ok" is a bunch of horse **** that needs to stop being repeated.

All the good OTs are gone, NE just started run on DBs. We will take a DB, and pass on Rosen for 2nd round.

We now have the Saint's 2020 2nd. Trade this 62 for Rosen, just promise me he's a project and has zero effect on drafting next year.

Some people may not like Rosen as a prospect, but the reality is that the Dolphins just got the best QB prospect since Marino. And they did it for pennies on the dollar. Yeah this guy wasn't great in Ariz last year, but there was exactly one QB in last year's much vaunted class that didn't play exactly like rookie QB's are supposed to play. Rosen isn't perfect either, but he's not some stupid reach, not a natural at his position, inexperienced project overdrafted like Tannehill was.

After years of the Henne's, Tannehill's, AJ Feeley's, and John Beck's, we got a better QB prospect than all of them while paying less. Let that sink in.
