Who needs a R Tackle? Without one we stand a better chance of landing Tua.
However you slice it, if you dont like this trade, you're the most miserable person I have ever encountered...Any way you slice it, this was a bad trade. I swear I had hopes that things would change with T-Dumb gone, but I think Grier has inherited his mindset.
What are you talking about? they moved up 15 spots in the second rd. Man, sometimes this board kills me.You're not getting a 2nd for moving down in the 2nd... Who cares about the 4th really...? Essentially, The Saints just traded a 2020 2nd round pick for a 2019 4th round pick... I do that trade every year and run!
That is the only move that would make sense and salvage the 2019 draft IMO.Trade that pick 62 to AZ for Rosen and a 4th. Get that fourth back. Done and done. That’s how you deal.
The Saints gave up two 2nd's … they needed to get something in return. So swapping our 4th for their 6th was that extra bit back. We want to stockpile picks for 2020 to get a QB, and they were willing to give us a 2nd rounder this year and a 2nd rounder next year, so that was like gold to us, so it was a very good trade for us, regardless of the outdated draft-value chart.Miami is definitely going hard for next year. I don't mind the compensation. Miami traded their 2nd rd spot down to Saints late 2nd rd pick and fins also give up their 4th, but get Saints 6th rd, but more apparently also Saints 2nd rd pick.
We didn't give up a high 2, we had a mid 2 and don't know where the Saints will finish next year. Brees ain't a kid anymore.By giving up a high 2 and a 4 for 2 late seconds one next year??
You are comp-letely correct.wouldn't the comp situation be done? i thought anyone we acquire after draft doesnt count towards comp picks
