DA M.I.A IS WHERE I STAY
If Rosen cant beat Fitzpatrick(which I dont think he can, at least right now).....THIS WAS A STUPID A** trade.
And if he does?If Rosen cant beat Fitzpatrick(which I dont think he can, at least right now).....THIS WAS A STUPID A** trade.
I will apologize, but that's a big ifAnd if he does?
Brilliant draft. We traded down in the 2nd and got an additional 2nd rounder in 2020. We got a stud at DT who will be a major factor for years to come and we got a low risk potential high reward QB.
If Rosen turns out to be a franchise QB it was the steal of the last two decades. If he is not we invested very little and still got 12 picks in next years draft to got for another QB.
This year's offseason Grier and Co laid the foundation for the next 5-10 years.
To those who think we are lacking OL players. If you go back through the recent history of the Patriots you will realize that the OL was always their strength and was mostly compromised of lower round draft picks, UDFAs and the garbage pile of the rest of the NFL. It was all about coaching them up in the system. I doubt you will us make any splash in FA or early in the draft when it comes to the OL.
With that being said: Josh, Welcome to Miami. Make the best of your second chance.
Well you'll be excited to learn that's exactly what we did!
That's really all you can do at this point. I just pray that he's either really good or really bad. None of this Tannehill level good where you start thinking he's good enough (when he's really not) and try to build a team around him instead of just pulling the band aid off and finding his replacement. I don't want to go through another 6 years listening to people argue whether Rosen should be the qb of this team. I'm exhausted.Off Topic: For those who dislike Rosen becoming a Dolphin: Why not have a wait-and-see attitude? Isn't it best to be, at the very least, fair? Let him prove his worth on the field this time around before we say anything either way. Forget his past and focus on the now. It's a new opportunity for the guy; that change in location might be what he needs in his progress as a NFL quarterback.
Thanks!
