This was a tough call for me.
I loved McCoy at #48 to anchor my OL for 2020 QB.
I would’ve tried to come out of this draft with Wilkins- McCoy and a trade up for Winovich.
That’s 3 high end starters....
Given the existing young talent, I would think we would be halfway towards building something.
Hold my 4th Rder for OL or Secondary.

I thought miami was lucky to have McCoy come to them at 48 but trading out maybe with him as the carrot might have been the plan all along. Does the saints make that move for anyone else with Miami? I doubt it.

I was turning in that McCoy card if I was turning in any one there. I was on the day 2 discussion thread saying move miami! When it got to about pick 42 and the o line run was in full force. When the Jenkins kid got picked over him we dodged a serious bullet.

As for the 3rd rounder as quickly as they turned in that card after the pats pick I think they were post rosen trade going o line and dieter all the way all along. Which may have been more oh oh we better get proactive protecting this kid than bpa at that point

As much as I loved McCoy, the consolation prize of getting Rosen AND a 2020 2nd is nice.


I dont understand having to give up the 4th, though. Maybe we will get good value in the 6th now.
