Friday's Biggest Winner - Nfl.com

Agree with every last word of this...

I've been following the conversations here and have had to laugh at the three or four who've been so visibly angry. It's almost like they think they know it all... no wait... that's exactly what they are like.

"The overwhelming ineptitude of the 2018 Cardinals offense may have ended Sam Bradford's playing career, Steve Wilks' career as a head coach and Mike McCoy's career as an offensive coordinator, but Rosen still has plenty of time to turn his own NFL future around. He can take solace that he'll never play behind an offensive line as bad as the one in Arizona last season again."

Um...

Um...
The Cardinals offensive line last year saw all five starters get injured and of the five replacements, three had never started an NFL game.

So, yes, he will never play behind a line as bad as that one. We certainly had line issues, but Arizona had line issues of historical value.

They were worse than 5 Ted Larsens!

I'd take this over Ted Larsen.

Great article.

I love all the hate and vitriol on this board, despite everyone outside of it saying this was a fantastic low risk high reward move. As someone who has been a fan of this team for decades, I’ve been yelling to the heavens for the Dolphins to keep kicking the tires on QBs until it worked out with one.

Now we at least have something interesting to watch at QB this season while we look forward to the beast mode 2020 Dolphins offseason. I really hope it works out for Rosen. It would be a great Aaron Rodgers-esque story if he went from unwanted to All Pro.

Go read Barry Jackson's article on Rosen. Great article!!! It doesn't exactly paint a very good picture of the type of QB Rosen is. Jackson's article is filled with facts.

If you look at the trade alone - a 2nd for Rosen - then I can see why people could be upset with it.

However, you have to look at the moves that led up to that trade. We essentially moved our 2nd to next year (when we can leverage it the most), and got Rosen for chump change.

And since we got Rosen for chump change, we can try him out for a year AND still take a shot at one of the top QBs next year. Having Rosen is insurance in case we can't get a top QB next year (because nothing is guaranteed), and protects us from having to rely on the Ewok for the long term.

All in all, this has played out as best as it could.

This 100%!!

I was reading some Arizona fan forums and they want Rosen to succeed as well. Many there loved him as their QB.

We can’t be the biggest winners because the Finheaven elite hate this trade. Would have loved it last year to 11, but hate this trade. No way we can be big winner.
