*** Official Nfl Draft Discussion Thread *** Rounds 4-7

Gaskin is a smooth. He catches well, has very good vision, and solid burst, but he's small and not very fast. Easily a draftable player, I listed him as a Day 3 target. He should be a nice role player.

Really like Miami taking a shot on an athletic, productive OLB in Van Ginkel. I'm a little surprised that Miami opted for him over guys like Omenihu and Hollins.

From what I gathered. In film sessions he did a better job of grasping the responsibilities he was going to be given. Under Jim Leonard it's not like he's playing in a simple defense either

He also has high-end speed and agility, and he makes some high-IQ plays (FF vs Purdue where he punched the ball out of the endzone), so I believe that he did well during film work.

There was a play pointed out from last seasons Big 10 Championship game where he was supposed to be a blitzer and he read the play and adjusted resulting in a pick 6. Stuff like that and explaining what he saw was something that the other tweener guys didn my really have (that were available)
