Dolphins Current Depth Chart

Seeing it all on paper...yikes.

Unfortunately I had the very same reaction.

Looking at that roster makes me question our draft strategy even more as we didn’t really improve any one area.

Wilkins is a nice player but he is somewhat of a projection playing a 3-4 End. I know he played some at Clemson but this is the NFL.

Dieter by most accounts was owned at the Senior Bowl. I’m also not sure we even needed a Guard. This pick seems to point to Davis filling our biggest need at RT. Is the plan to put a rookie next to a guy playing an essentially new position? Ugh.

Follow that up with an undeveloped LB, a RT who wasn’t really very good, a FB who would have gone undrafted and a scat back who will struggle to get touches and doesn’t play Special Teams.

These players may turn out to be something but for 2019 it sure looks ugly. For me the best move of the draft was to get Rosen and hope for the best.

well, it's gonna take more than one off season to turn this team around.

We are gonna find out a lot this year about how much scheme and coaching can offset talent level. Especially with the o line and defense.

Every snap that Fitzpatrick plays is utterly worthless so hopefully there is none.

I figure this would be a good place to discuss our depth at certain positions, including which UDFA's can make the team and which positions we may be going after in the FA2 period. I'll edit the list as we sign and cut.

Thanks for the work. What happened to Brendel? Was he waived injured?

O’Leary could beat out one of the vets we signed. Would not be surprised.

I'm not sure you can count on Tankersley? He's coming back from an injury that is notoriously hard to come back from. I'd have a question mark next to Tankersley name, until he proves otherwise.
