Well Is "tank For Tua " Officially Cancelled ?

I'm all in for Rosen. I honestly think he is just as good as any that are available next year. If I'm right, we STOLE him.
If I'm wrong, we got a 2 million dollar per yer back up for 3 years. ...and we are paying Fitz 5.5.
Settle in, take your shoes off, have a beer... and enjoy the show.

Unless Rosen wins us 9 games and looks like the next coming of Marino, I still draft Tua/Herbert/Fromm in 2020. I don't see us picking first next year, but hopefully without tanking we still have enough ammo to move up and get one of those guys.

I’m sorry, but I’m not a fan on Tua. He plays on a college all star team and was badly outplayed by a freshman in the national championship game. I would rather have Herbert or Fromm.

A year ago, did anyone think that everyone but Grier would be gone, the team would eat RT's dead cap, and Josh Rosen would be the QB?

We have no idea what's going to happen over the next year. Nothing is guaranteed, and nothing is canceled.

For just about the past 30 years, besides the Cam Cameron debacle, we've consistently been a .500 team that gets lucky and wins a game or 2 more, or gets unlucky and wins a game or 2 less. I don't see that changing with the group we have this year.

Statistically lookup at the last season of this year' Qbs and this past year for those projected in the 1st next year, Rosen is mostly outperformed by the top guys.

I remember Rosen having a less than stellar year before entering the draft

Everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion, but don't you think picking one game against the best team in the country during a kid's first year as a starter is a little bit wreckless? Especially when you're talking about being outplayed by Football Jesus. You can point to one game where they've all been outplayed - even Football Jesus was outplayed by...Jake Bentley.

Tua outplayed Fromm in the national title game the year before and that was from a deficit when he entered the game. Tua outplayed Kyler Murray. Baker Mayfield was outplayed by J.T. Barrett. Herbert was outplayed by Khalil Tate.

Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, Tom Brady...they've all been outplayed by an opposing quarterback. That's a tough sell my friend.

Tanking was ever only in the minds of the fans.
Exactly! How many players on a roster want to tank for a season knowing full well it could cost them their job?

The Fins simply put themselves in position to open a window in 2020. Look at the 2020 cap space, look at the amount of draft picks in 2020 and look at the 2019 roster. Its obvious. Call it what you want, tank, rebuild, a combination of both... The simple anwser is 2019 is not about winning for them. Rosen doesnt change any of that and the idea that Fitzpatrick could alter the direction is even more laughable.

In order for the Fins to win games in 2019, the offense will have to score an incredible amount of points. I mean even 100 rating QBing is not going to be enough and with the offense as is, its a pipe dream. Are they going to try and lose games on purpose? I dont think so, but their actions sure as hell dont point to a team who has winning as a big priority in 2019...

With all the holes on this team you think 9 games or else is a realistic way to grade out Rosen for 2019?

Seems a bit unfair IMO.
