Exactly and people don't factor in the opportunity cost of not getting someone in the second round like McCoy who is what I wanted with the pick. I think if the fins could have held their water a bit they could have given a 2019 third rounder or that 2020 2nd rounder instead of sending the 2019 second rounder. Hell we gave them a late 2nd rounder this year. At that point the pats weren't taking him. I'm not sure why we gave the 2nd up. We had all the leverage at that point.

It's been a group effort for sure but his drafts coupled with the hooker fiasco put him in rare company. The Saints aren't complaining though ...

Well here's another perspective, an unbiased one. The overwhelming majority of the media I've heard and read think this was a crafty steal on the part of the Fins. They blame Keim for putting the Cards in that position as he only started making calls after the pick for Murray was in as to not tip their hands.

Many are surmising that AZ had a deal with the NFL not to divulge the pick to build up suspense and that there's a quid pro quo like there was for the now LA Rams in drafting Michael Sam with the TV cameras rolling. Whatever it was, most everyone felt if Keim would have started the process a few weeks before instead of that Chinese Fire Drill the Cards would have received considerably more value than they ended up getting from us.

I can't even argue with this all that much. There has been a whole lot of stupid in the Dolphins FO in the last two decades.

Seems unlikely when a guy who has been a key constant through that process just got promoted again. That's been the crux of my criticism of Miami's decision-making process this offseason.

our draft is setup for 2020.if we can find 3 ol and 4 dl and cb next week and june 1st cut we will be alright. our roster doesn't look bad at all. only person missing is cam wake.
