I truly hope this guy is a star. It would go a long way to shoring up this D Line. A legitimate DT is nothing to scoff at.

I remember watching him a few year back in a bowl game and thinking man that guy is incredible and wonder what the Dolphins would be like with a guy like that.

Now that we have him I am not so out of this world about him. I think I have been let down by this team and its drafting so much that I automatically assume every pick will underperform their drafted position.

Not only a legitimate DT but a legitimate leader on the defense, its been a number of year since we had a real leader in the locker room on defense. We need someone to hold other players accountable and also set an example with work ethic and leadership in the meeting room. To have him and minkah I think is going to be huge going forward building chemistry.
 
Wilkins is from Massachusetts, and from what I remember, he was one of the first big-time recruits from that area that Clemson had ever been able to recruit.
