Rotoworld Ranks Dolphins #2 For Udfa Signings

My early take is that 10 rookies will land on the roster. Fits my
desired outcome of a massive youth infusion. We'll probably land
that many next draft/UDFA as well. Maybe 1 or 2 more.

By Y3 in the program we'll have transformed over 60% of the roster.

Young and NASTY ready to do serious damage for many years!

>>> 2 flippers crossed <<<

:)
Wow, sorry dude didn't know you were afflicted with phocomelia. Anywho, I raise my faux flipper to ya in solidarity! lol

That didn't last long. Back to reality!

I actually have been very critical of our draft, the back half specificallly. Rounds 1-3 were solid but the 4-7 are very suspect.

But our handling of udfa's this year has made me feel optimistic. This is a total New England move. We need depth everywhere and we have a huge turnover of the roster which is what is needed for real change.

I can see at least 4 to 5 UDFA's making the team. People should not judge these players harsh just because they didn't get drafted. Mark Clayton was an 8th round pick when there were 12 rounds. I believe Jeff Cross was a 9th round pick.

So lets just say that players like Williams, Calhoun and Hanks could have all been drafted in the 8th or 9th round if the draft had 12 rounds like back in the day.

These are the types of articles that worry me. Near consensus Miami nailed it with Rosen. Broad accolades on Wilkins. Now a high rank for UDFAs. I'm a Dolphin fan and not used to such love after a draft. Hope all these articles are right. Now, if Deiter works out . . .
Deiter is solid... 54 starts at O-lineman U...Wisconsin... played Tackle, center and guard.

Played the entire 2017 at left tackle, the entire 2018 at left guard.

Larry Little and Jim Langer also went undrafted

Never worry about the main page stuff at Rotoworld, whoever writes the Dolphins stuff clearly dislikes them. No matter what the 'phins do, the author is snarky and insulting... like how I'd write about the Jester clowns... err, Jets.
J-E-T-S... morons morons morons!

Wes Welker, James Harrison, Antonio Gates, Romo, Warner, Moon, Priest Holmes, Vinateiri, Jason Peters, Brian Waters

All very high quality borderline hall of famers then bunch of players with decent play like Bess before we decided to ruin his career and ship him to Cleveland. I have hope for this years class especially Terrill Hanks and Preston Williams. Hanks will at minimum be a package player with van ginkel. Williams can be special if he keeps his head straight.

I can buy this. Probably more about opportunity in Miami than pure udfa talent level though.

Plenty of opportunity to make the 53
