Peyton Manning Analyzes Josh Rosen Pre- Snaps

Manning wasn’t his own coach when Gase was his OC
Yeah he was, he will never admit that. Manning always had total control because of his intelligence going back to Indy. I will admit that Gase has some good ideas but his overall attention to detail, poor coaching hires, and people skills were poor. Manning would have Gase fired if he ever called WR screen on 3rd and long

Manny was much more of a technician. It goes without saying Brady, a fine Qb, has benefited greatly from the system and coaching staff.

I hope that system is in south beach now! The Patriots system makes QBs look good. Brady doesn’t have 6 rings with any other team.

Brady is one of the smartest pre snap QBs inn the NFL and that's why he's so good. When you can correctly decide pre snap where the ball should go you are gonna win most throws

Doesn't hurt to have a few years learning with full-time helmet communications (illegally, of course).

Good stuff. Kinda basic, but leaves you with the feeling that Peyton would do a good job of evaluating Rosen with more time and that he thinks Rosen has potential.

Since the Dolphins now have the guy that coached Manning for almost a decade (Jim Caldwell), maybe they can convince Peyton to come in and consult on Josh Rosen.

I'm sure Rosen is up for learning from the QB greats like how he worked with Aaron Rodgers briefly prior to the draft.

After seeing Gase close up in Miami I have to assume he got a lot of credit for things that weren't really his accomplishments. Manning is one of the best ever, he is also a very good friend to Gase. His famous quote about Gase being the smartest guy he's ever met, or something like that, gave Gase a lot of mileage. QB whisperer, horse droppings!

Can someone explain what Manning meant by "batted balls should be banned"? Couldn't tell if it was a joke/banter. Was he suggesting defence can try to intercept but shouldn't be allowed to intentionally swat a ball?

he’s got his face up Gases azz to worry about what’s going on here..

Whimsical sure, but put Manning or Rodgers on that Pats team since 2000 and you get a LOT more trophies.

Preposterous. One of the most preposterous comments I have ever seen here. I can't believe you got anybody to agree with it. That demonstrates the hatred and therefore lack of clear thinking regarding the Patriots, and nothing more.

New England has not been a dominant team. Brady makes them a dominant team.

The league is so balanced in terms of manpower and coaching and common draft and salary cap there is no way you can simply cha-ching one title after another, as you suggest. Winning basically 1/3 of the time in that span is an absolutely remarkable achievement. Other quarterbacks would have fallen short of that, not exceeded it.

I'll take my chances on big picture logic like that and allow you guys to rely on bitter Happy Adjustment.
