The highest since week 4... I remember that... Must have been before that Patriots ass whooping we got that I got roasted for predicting with my "We are gonna lose!" threads.

I think having Rosen fall into our laps raises that number....I can accept having to rebuild... I can’t accept never having a Franchise caliber QB prospect... this franchise totally screwed up passing on so many opportunities that would have netted hall of fame QB’s to join Griese and Marino...so yeah... I raise one to Grier and my faith rose dramatically.

I'm so unsure. A GM that has been here through all the mess. No way to know how much he contributed to it. A rookie HC from a tree that does not produce good HC's. I hope I am wrong.

You have to give him the benefit of the doubt because he was the least powerful man in the room back then.....

Example... according to Tannenbaum... he and Grier really liked Rosen in the 2018 draft ...but Gase was NOT pounding on the table to go up and get him and replace Tannehill.... so Grier was pretty restricted... now he has full power!

I like that Grier has all the power. At least it is clear who is in charge. With the accumulation of picks/cap space for 2020, we are in a great position to rebuild the team. Of course players and coaches are always fighting for their careers, so they would never intentionally lose. However, it is in our best interest long term to have the first overall pick in the 2020 draft. While the Rosen trade was great value, I fear he may be average enough to hurt our chances of getting the #1 pick next year. On the other hand, Rosen was instrumental in helping AZ get the first pick last year. Personally, I would have just rolled with Fitzmagic so at this point I’m unsure.

Confident? That's a strong word choice considering the seats barely warm.
Same....I'm excited but definitely not confident.
Sure I'll still yell out FTJs to every Jets fan but that doesn't mean I'm confident Miami will win. Extremely hopeful over here.

As a fan I feel the most you can do is show support. We control nothing. We dont play, we dont make personnel decisions, we dont coach. How can you be confident in something you have no control of?

Somewhat. I like all the great assistants that Flores was able to bring in, and I love that we are finally using the system of comp picks correctly, but I am pretty unsure about the Rosen pickup. Especially right after passing on Haskins, which I think we’ll regret. A little of each so far.

honestly I'm not sure yet. They've done some good things but it's way too early to tell imo.

Lol. That’s the last thing you need to give

I'm encouraged and intrigued by what has been done and who Grier surrounded himself with in the F/O. The ability to trade off what was perceived to be untradable assets and gaining some useful draft capital into the future, is a major shift in philosophy. The coaching staff sticking their necks out for Josh Rosen, who apparently was well liked within both the Patriots and Dolphins organization's. What's make me confident in what transpired, is how the Patriots have had numerous backup QB's over the years come in and play without much drop off. This is a testament to the coaching and system being run. If this all somehow works out for Miami, I'd say they've finally saw the light and can claim I'm now confident, but until then, I remain optimistic!!!
