It’s been quite a while since the Miami Dolphins had a true fullback on the roster. But it took no time at all for the Dolphins to lock one in once they drafted him in the 2019 NFL Draft. The first rookie pick to agree to terms with the Dolphins was Washington running back Myles Gaskin last night — Auburn fullback Chandler Cox agreed shortly after Gaskin.

Honestly so excited to have a true FB back on the roster ...just recalling the year with Lou Polite I think Drake will benefit greatly if this kid can play.

Also may be able to add a bit more protection for Rosen if our OL is seriously bad
 
Totally expect us to draft a FB or at the very least get one as an UDFA.......Flores wants to push people around and a FB sure helps.
 
I'd love to transform this franchise into a tough, physical style of ball. We had that under Sparano but it's been MIA in awhile. We were also a dumb team for years.

And being physical does not preclude you from having elite athletes as playmakers.

Here's to hoping we have a physical, smart team with discipline. It won't happen overnight but I am optimistic about the coach in these regards. As with anything in sports, we will see, though.
