You can afford to over pay your corner or another position when you have your qb on a dirt cheap deal and maybe intend on drafting a qb next year that will be on a rookie deal thru 2024. Miami might not have the pay serious qb money until 2024 or 2025.

I'm happy for him! He went through a lot in his life, and so did his family. Provided that he's smart with his money, the Howard family will be financially set for life. Doesn't buy happiness, but that puts a nice down payment on it.
So what? That's more a reflection how devoid of talent Miami is more than anything. Plus, I would hope that this organization would finally be smart enough to not pay a running back anything more than a bargain type contract.
