Myles Gaskin

He's small for a running back so durability is a concern and he's a running back so it's a devalued position.

I was a huge Drake supporter but I'd be worried if I was Drake with this guy on the roster. He seems to be faster on tape then his 4.58 forty time.

Gaskins led the country in rush attempts his jr season, so despite his size he has carried a heavy load at Washington. Drake, Ballage and Gaskins are a good trio, but I would like to see a power back added to the group.

Cox is probably who they are banking on but given his lack of touches he's a long shot. H-back / full back would be nice to see again in the NFL but a lot of things need to go right for Cox to be that guy.

I'm ok with Cox as a blocker, but his 6 career rush attempts have me hesitant to assume he'll have an impact as a rusher.

He has a chance. Reminds me a little bit of Warrick Dunn. How he made it to the 7th, I think has a lot to do with de-valuing the position and that he has had a lot of carries at Washington.

I went into he 2018 season questioning Gaskin's NFL potential, but after watch the impact Phillip Lindsey had in Denver last season I was more optimistic. Lindsey is similar in size, also played in the PAC 12, and had similar college production.

Darren Sproles is small for a RB too. But he’s carved out a tremendous career, including durability throughout his prime.

Perhaps he’s the exception. But the precedent is still there. And the way the league is now with safety rules, little guys have as good a chance as ever before.

How did this guy fall to the seventh round?

Looks fast and shifty. Appears to have a great vision for finding the hole and good at making people miss. Can even catch the ball a bit. Yeah, I'd be worried if I were Drake. I have no idea how this guy fell. His shiftiness reminds me of how Barry Sanders ran. Before someone jumps on me, I'm not saying he's Barry Sanders, his running style is similar, that's all.

Yes he was clearly taken for his blocking abilities and not his rushing. Lol. I was surprised after the draft when I looked him up and saw his numbers....well lack thereof.

I don't know why people are comparing him to Warrick Dunn and Darren Sproles.

Isn't he like over 5'9" tall, and 205 pounds?

Why not compare him to Gerald McNeil (the Ice Cube)?

His size is more comparable to Barry Sanders, LaDainian Tomlinson, Marshall Faulk, Thurman Thomas, Priest Holmes,

I'm excited to see this kid play.

Also curious if they'll use Cox sometimes at running back (in addition to fb, te, etc.)
