Gugs Is Back In Miami

Uhh I'm pretty sure Quenton Nelson had something to do with Indy's success. Maybe Flaherty needs help identifying what a turnstile looks like.

Wow!!! GUGS is Back!!! I'm very happy. He got shafted by Indianapolis. He's worked with both Miami's OL coach and Flores, so this could lead to something permanent. At least that's my hope. Great Coach and a great guy.

Sparano and some players called him "Gugs" pronounced Googs.
He was our OL coach during Sparano's time, which happens to be the last time we had a hardnosed power team. From what the coaches are saying they want to go back to that type of play. Bringing Gugs to help Flaherty built a decent OL looks like a turn in that direction. I like it!

Dave DeGuglielmo returns to Miami Dolphins as analyst helping OL
...
DeGuglielmo, who built the Colts’ offensive line into one of the league’s best last season, is back in Davie as Dolphins try to rebuild OL.
...
The Dolphins, racing to rebuild an offensive line that was a liability last season, are turning to someone who led the league in that department last season.

Dave DeGuglielmo has returned to Davie as an analyst, helping offensive line coach Pat Flaherty. DeGuglielmo was the Dolphins’ offensive line coach from 2009-11.

I don't understand what these "analysts" do. Is coaching an O-line really a 2 person job? Seems like too many cooks.

He won a lot of Super Bowls as a coach. We’ll take it.

He probably vomited watching those drills.

I swear this is how it went with the Pats line the last few seasons...

‘That line is terrible- Brady is going to get killed’

Few games or so in season, Brady gets alot of time in the pocket.
