Time will tell, but I am hoping a competent and experienced coaching staff can make a difference. Rosen may or may not be a gem and I feel we do have some good pieces. I think the "culture" thing has been talked about enough, but we may see a different mindset from the team this year. Believing that your coaches know what they are doing would be a welcome change for the team and the fans.

Every coach has this same honeymoon period, it seems like. Then you'll have a "just missed" season where it looks like we're headed in the right direction, if only we had more talented players...or a mirage of a season where there will be a playoff waxing after an improbable win streak.

After about 2-3 years of mediocrity, everyone will turn on each other, and debate with each other who the biggest hater of the front office is...or will talk about how they were the first one to say that the front office and coaching staff sucked, if just only anyone had listened.

Nicknames and memes will be made, the staff will become a staph, and a bizarre mix of apathy and anger will take over, as if the anger will be able to change the direction of a sports team...

Eventually, everyone will be sacked, and a new group will take their place, come in, talk the big talk, and stoke a ton of excitement in the fan base...the cycle will repeat itself...

It's happened with everyone I can remember after Wannstedt without fail.
Gee, you are painting a really pretty picture there. I am going to try (again) to have faith.

I'm 50/50 On the whole thing so far. I am more worried about how they approach the off-season in 2020. That is the real test for Chris grier. He has to avoid spending wild money during free agency and build the team in the smart progressive fashion he has shown he wants to. The last thing we need is to be doing the same stuff that has gotten us in holes for the past 20 years

All I want this year are positive steps towards a better 2020 and beyond. And a split with the rest of the division and a win against the Giants. I’m good with 4-12 IF the team seems to going in the right direction.

I voted “yes” insofar as I can with what we currently know. We’ll have a much better idea when we see go the game planning, play calling and player execution unfolds, but I like the talent we’ve acquired and while there were other players I liked at certain draftee positions I do like the areas we focused on and the focus on scheme/position versatility gives me an idea of where the coaches and FO want to take this franchise. I thought I’d be skipping this season, but it looks like I’ll be dropping dough on Sunday Ticket yet again to see what we’ve got.
